1Thus says YHWH, "For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn it back; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime.
2And I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, with the sound of the shofar.
3And I will cut off the judge from her midst, and slay all her princes with him," says YHWH.
4Thus says YHWH, "For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn it back; because they rejected the Torah of YHWH, and did not keep his statutes (chuqqim); and their lies led them astray, after which their fathers walked.
5And I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem."
6Thus says YHWH, "For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn it back; because they sell the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals;
7who pant after the dust (aphar) of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the humble; and a man (ish) and his father go to the same maiden, to profane my holy name.
8And upon clothes taken in pledge they stretch out beside every altar, and the wine of those who have been fined they drink in the house of their God.
9Yet I destroyed the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
10And I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you in the wilderness forty years, to possess the land of the Amorite.
11And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not even so, O sons of Israel?" declares YHWH.
12But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and upon the prophets you commanded (tzivvah), saying, 'You shall not prophesy.'
13Behold, I am pressing down beneath you, as a cart presses that is full of sheaves.
14And flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his power, and the mighty shall not deliver his soul (nephesh).
15And he that handles the bow shall not stand, and the swift of foot shall not deliver himself; and he that rides the horse shall not deliver his soul (nephesh).
16And the stout of his heart among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day," declares YHWH.
