Deuteronomy 27

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded (tzivvah) the people, saying, "Keep all the commandment (mitzvah) which I command you (tzivvah) this day.

And it shall be on the day when you pass over the Jordan into the land which YHWH your God is giving you, that you shall set up for yourself great stones and plaster them with plaster.

And you shall write upon them all the words of this Torah, when you pass over, so that you may come into the land which YHWH your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as YHWH, the God of your fathers, has spoken to you.

And it shall be when you pass over the Jordan, you shall set up these stones, which I command you (tzivvah) this day, on Mount Ebal, and you shall plaster them with plaster.

And you shall build there an altar to YHWH your God, an altar of stones; you shall not wield iron upon them.

Of whole stones you shall build the altar of YHWH your God, and you shall offer up upon it burnt offerings to YHWH your God.

And you shall sacrifice peace offerings and eat there, and you shall rejoice before YHWH your God.

And you shall write upon the stones all the words of this Torah very plainly."

And Moses and the priests, the Levites, spoke to all Israel, saying, "Keep silence and hear, O Israel; this day you have become a people to YHWH your God.

And you shall hearken to the voice of YHWH your God, and do His commandments (mitzvah) and His statutes (chuqqim), which I command you (tzivvah) this day."

And Moses commanded (tzivvah) the people on that day, saying,

"These shall stand to bless the people on Mount Gerizim, when you pass over the Jordan: Simeon and Levi and Judah and Issachar and Joseph and Benjamin.

And these shall stand for the curse on Mount Ebal: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

And the Levites shall answer and say to every man (ish) of Israel with a loud voice:

Cursed is the man (ish) who makes a carved or molten image, an abomination to YHWH, the work of the hands of a craftsman, and sets it up in secret. And all the people shall answer and say, "Amen."

Cursed is he who dishonors his father and his mother. And all the people shall say, "Amen."

Cursed is he who moves back his neighbor's boundary. And all the people shall say, "Amen."

Cursed is he who makes the blind to go astray in the way. And all the people shall say, "Amen."

Cursed is he who perverts the judgment (mishpat) of the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. And all the people shall say, "Amen."

Cursed is he who lies with his father's wife (ishah), because he has uncovered his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, "Amen."

Cursed is he who lies with any beast. And all the people shall say, "Amen."

Cursed is he who lies with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, "Amen."

Cursed is he who lies with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall say, "Amen."

Cursed is he who strikes his neighbor in secret. And all the people shall say, "Amen."

Cursed is he who takes a bribe to strike down a soul (nephesh), innocent blood. And all the people shall say, "Amen."

Cursed is he who does not establish the words of this Torah to do them. And all the people shall say, "Amen."
