1Thus says my Lord (Adonai) YHWH: The gate of the inner court that faces east shall be shut the six days of work, and on the Shabbat day it shall be opened, and on the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
2And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate from outside, and shall stand by the doorpost of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall bow down on the threshold of the gate, and he shall go out; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.
3And the people of the land shall bow down at the entrance of that gate on the Shabbat and on the new moons before YHWH.
4And the burnt offering that the prince shall bring near to YHWH on the Shabbat day shall be six lambs, perfect, and a ram, perfect.
5And a meal offering, an ephah for the ram; and for the lambs a meal offering, the gift of his hand; and oil, a hin for the ephah.
6And on the day of the new moon, a bull, a son of the herd, perfect; and six lambs and a ram—they shall be perfect.
7And an ephah for the bull and an ephah for the ram he shall prepare as a meal offering, and for the lambs according to what his hand reaches; and oil, a hin for the ephah.
8And when the prince enters, by the way of the porch of the gate he shall enter, and by its way he shall go out.
9And when the people of the land come before YHWH in the appointed times (moadim), he who enters by the way of the north gate to bow down shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he who enters by the way of the south gate shall go out by the way of the north gate; he shall not return by the way of the gate by which he came in, but straight before him he shall go out.
10And the prince, in their midst, when they enter shall enter, and when they go out they shall go out.
11And in the feasts (chagim) and in the appointed times (moadim) the meal offering shall be an ephah for a bull and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs the gift of his hand; and oil, a hin for the ephah.
12And when the prince prepares a freewill offering, a burnt offering or peace offerings, a freewill offering to YHWH, one shall open for him the gate that faces east, and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings as he does on the Shabbat day; and he shall go out, and one shall shut the gate after his going out.
13And a lamb, a son of its year, perfect, you shall prepare as a burnt offering for the day to YHWH; morning by morning you shall prepare it.
14And a meal offering you shall prepare with him morning by morning, a sixth of the ephah; and oil, a third of the hin, to moisten the fine flour—a meal offering to YHWH, statutes (chuqqot) of perpetuity, continually.
15They shall prepare the lamb and the meal offering and the oil morning by morning, a continual burnt offering.
16Thus says my Lord (Adonai) YHWH: If the prince gives a gift to a man (ish) from his sons, it is his inheritance; to his sons it shall belong; it is their possession by inheritance.
17And if he gives a gift from his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his until the year of liberty, and it shall return to the prince; surely his inheritance—it is his sons', to them it shall belong.
18And the prince shall not take from the inheritance of the people, to oppress them out of their possession; from his own possession he shall give inheritance to his sons, so that my people not be scattered, each man (ish) from his possession.
19And he brought me through the entrance that was at the shoulder of the gate, to the holy chambers for the priests, which face north; and behold, there a place in the two recesses westward.
20And he said to me: This is the place where the priests shall boil the guilt offering and the sin offering, where they shall bake the meal offering, so as not to bring them out into the outer court to sanctify the people.
21And he brought me out to the outer court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and behold, a court in every corner of the court.
22In the four corners of the court were enclosed courts, forty in length and thirty in breadth—one measure for the four of them, cornered.
23And a row round about in them, round about for the four of them; and boiling places were made under the rows round about.
24And he said to me: These are the houses of those who boil, where the ministers of the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people.
