Isaiah 11

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

And there shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit.

And the spirit (ruach) of YHWH shall rest upon him, the spirit (ruach) of wisdom and understanding, the spirit (ruach) of counsel and might, the spirit (ruach) of knowledge and of the fear of YHWH.

And his delight shall be in the fear of YHWH; and he shall not judge by the sight of his eyes, nor decide by the hearing of his ears.

But with righteousness he shall judge (mishpat) the poor, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the spirit (ruach) of his lips he shall slay the wicked.

And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his waist.

And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little lad shall lead them.

And the cow and the bear shall graze; together their young shall lie down; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

And the suckling shall play over the hole of the cobra, and over the den of the viper the weaned child shall stretch his hand.

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of YHWH, as the waters cover the sea.

And it shall come to pass in that day, the root of Jesse, who stands as an ensign of the peoples — to him the nations shall seek; and his resting place shall be glory.

And it shall come to pass in that day, my Lord (Adonai) shall again the second time set his hand to recover the remnant of his people who remain, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

And he shall lift up an ensign for the nations, and gather the outcasts of Israel, and the dispersed of Judah he shall assemble from the four corners of the earth.

And the envy of Ephraim shall depart, and those who harass Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.

And they shall swoop upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the sea; together they shall plunder the children of the east; Edom and Moab shall be the reaching of their hand, and the children of Ammon their obedience.

And YHWH shall utterly destroy the tongue of the sea of Egypt; and he shall wave his hand over the River with the scorching of his spirit (ruach), and smite it into seven streams, and make men tread it in sandals.

And there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people who remain from Assyria, as there was for Israel in the day that he came up from the land of Egypt.
