Isaiah 25

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

YHWH, you are my God; I will exalt you, I will praise your name, for you have done a wonder — counsels from afar, faithfulness and sureness.

For you have made the city into a heap, the fortified town into a ruin; a palace of strangers is no longer a city, it shall never be built.

Therefore a strong people will honor you, the town of ruthless nations will fear you.

For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; for the spirit (ruach) of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall.

Like heat in a dry land you subdue the tumult of strangers; like heat by the shade of a cloud, the song of the ruthless is brought low.

And YHWH of hosts (tzevaot) will make for all the peoples in this mountain a feast of rich things, a feast of wines on the lees, of rich things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

And he will swallow up in this mountain the face of the shroud, the shroud cast over all the peoples, and the veil that is spread over all the nations.

He will swallow up death forever; and my Lord (Adonai) YHWH will wipe away the tear from upon all faces, and the reproach of his people he will turn aside from upon all the earth; for YHWH has spoken.

And it will be said in that day, "Behold, this is our God; we waited for him, and he saved us. This is YHWH; we waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation (yeshuah)."

For the hand of YHWH will rest on this mountain, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, as straw is trodden down in the waters of a dunghill.

And he will spread out his hands in its midst, as the swimmer spreads out to swim; and he will bring down his pride together with the tricks of his hands.

And the fortress, the high stronghold of your walls, he has brought down, laid low, brought to the ground, even to the dust (aphar).
