Isaiah 45

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

Thus says YHWH to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him; and the loins of kings I will loosen, to open before him the double doors, and the gates shall not be shut:

I will go before you, and the crooked places I will make straight; doors of bronze I will break in pieces, and bars of iron I will cut asunder.

And I will give to you the treasures of darkness, and hidden stores of secret places, that you may know that I am YHWH, who calls you by your name, the God of Israel.

For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I have called you by your name; I have surnamed you, though you have not known me.

I am YHWH, and there is no other; besides me there is no God; I gird you, though you have not known me;

that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from its setting, that there is none besides me; I am YHWH, and there is no other.

I form light and create darkness, I make peace and create evil; I am YHWH, who makes all these.

Drop down, O heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, and let them bear salvation (yeshuah), and let righteousness sprout together; I, YHWH, have created it.

Woe to him who contends with his former, a potsherd among the potsherds of the ground (adamah)! Shall the clay say to its former, "What are you making?" or, "Your work has no hands"?

Woe to him who says to a father, "What do you beget?" or to a woman (ishah), "What do you travail?"

Thus says YHWH, the Holy One of Israel, and his former: Ask me of the things to come concerning my sons; and concerning the work of my hands you command (tzivvah) me.

I have made the earth, and man (adam) upon it I have created; I, my hands have stretched out the heavens, and all their host I have commanded (tzivvah).

I have roused him in righteousness, and all his ways I will make straight; he shall build my city, and my exiles he shall let go, not for price nor for reward, says YHWH of hosts (tzevaot).

Thus says YHWH: The labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Cush, and the Sabeans, men (ish) of stature, shall pass over to you, and they shall be yours; after you they shall walk, in chains they shall pass over; and to you they shall bow down, to you they shall pray, "Surely God is in you, and there is none else, no other God."

Surely you are a God who hides himself, O God of Israel, the Savior (yasha).

They are ashamed and also confounded, all of them; together they go in confusion, the fashioners of idols.

Israel is saved (yasha) by YHWH with an everlasting salvation; you shall not be ashamed nor confounded for ever and ever.

For thus says YHWH, who creates the heavens—he is God—who forms the earth and makes it; he establishes it; he did not create it a waste, he formed it to be inhabited: I am YHWH, and there is no other.

Not in secret have I spoken, in a place of a land of darkness; I did not say to the seed of Jacob, "Seek me in vain"; I am YHWH, speaking righteousness, declaring uprightness.

Gather yourselves and come, draw near together, escapees of the nations; they have no knowledge, those who carry the wood of their carved image, and pray to a god that does not save (yasha).

Declare and bring near; yes, let them take counsel together: Who has made this heard from of old, declared it from then? Was it not I, YHWH? And there is no other God besides me, a righteous God and a Savior (yasha); there is none besides me.

Turn to me and be saved (yasha), all ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.

By myself I have sworn, righteousness has gone forth from my mouth, a word that shall not return: that to me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Only in YHWH, it is said of me, are righteousness and strength; to him one shall come, and all who are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

In YHWH shall be justified, and shall glory, all the seed of Israel.
