Isaiah 7

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz son of Jotham son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin king of Aram and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel went up to Jerusalem for war against it, but he was not able to fight against it.

And it was told to the house of David, saying: "Aram rests upon Ephraim." And his heart shook, and the heart of his people, like the shaking of the trees of the forest before the spirit (ruach).

And YHWH said to Isaiah: "Go out now to meet Ahaz, you and Shear-jashub your son, to the end of the conduit of the upper pool, to the highway of the launderer's field,

and you shall say to him: Take heed and be quiet; do not fear, and let not your heart be faint, from these two tails of smoking firebrands, from the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram and the son of Remaliah.

Because Aram has counseled evil against you, Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, saying:

'Let us go up against Judah and vex it, and let us breach it for ourselves, and let us make a king reign in the midst of it, the son of Tabeel.'

Thus says my Lord (Adonai) YHWH: It shall not stand, and it shall not be.

For the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within sixty and five years Ephraim shall be shattered from being a people.

And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah. If you do not believe, surely you shall not be established."

And YHWH again spoke to Ahaz, saying:

"Ask for yourself a sign (ot) from YHWH your God; make it deep as the depth, or make it high to above."

And Ahaz said: "I will not ask, and I will not test YHWH."

And he said: "Hear now, O house of David: Is it a small thing for you to weary men (ish), that you weary also my God?

Therefore my Lord (Adonai) himself shall give to you a sign (ot): Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and she shall call his name Immanuel.

Curd and honey he shall eat, by the time of his knowing to refuse the evil and to choose the good.

For before the youth knows to refuse the evil and to choose the good, the ground (adamah) of whose two kings you are in dread shall be forsaken.

YHWH shall bring upon you, and upon your people, and upon the house of your father, days that have not come from the day Ephraim turned aside from Judah; the king of Assyria.

And it shall come to pass in that day, YHWH shall whistle for the fly that is in the end of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.

And they shall come and rest, all of them, in the steep ravines, and in the clefts of the rocks, and on all the thornbushes, and on all the pastures.

In that day my Lord (Adonai) shall shave, with a hired razor from beyond the River, with the king of Assyria, the head and the hair of the feet; and also the beard it shall sweep away.

And it shall come to pass in that day, a man (ish) shall keep alive a young cow of the herd and two of the flock.

And it shall come to pass, from the abundance of the making of milk he shall eat curd; for curd and honey shall everyone eat that is left in the midst of the land.

And it shall come to pass in that day, every place where there were a thousand vines at a thousand of silver shall be for briers and for thorns.

With arrows and with the bow one shall come there, for briers and thorns shall all the land be.

And all the hills that were hoed with the hoe, you shall not come there for fear of briers and thorns; and it shall be for the sending out of the ox, and for the treading of the sheep."
