And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying:
Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them: I am YHWH your God.
According to the doings of the land of Egypt, in which you dwelt, you shall not do; and according to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you shall not do; and in their statutes (chuqqot) you shall not walk.
My judgments (mishpat) you shall do, and my statutes (chuqqot) you shall keep, to walk in them: I am YHWH your God.
And you shall keep my statutes (chuqqot) and my judgments (mishpat), which if the man (adam) does them, he shall live by them: I am YHWH.
Any man (ish), man (ish) — to any near kin of his flesh (basar) you shall not approach to uncover nakedness: I am YHWH.
The nakedness of your father and the nakedness of your mother you shall not uncover; she is your mother, you shall not uncover her nakedness.
The nakedness of your father's wife (ishah) you shall not uncover; it is your father's nakedness.
The nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father or the daughter of your mother, born at home or born abroad — you shall not uncover their nakedness.
The nakedness of your son's daughter or your daughter's daughter — you shall not uncover their nakedness, for they are your own nakedness.
The nakedness of the daughter of your father's wife (ishah), born of your father — she is your sister, you shall not uncover her nakedness.
The nakedness of your father's sister you shall not uncover; she is the near kin of your father.
The nakedness of your mother's sister you shall not uncover; for she is the near kin of your mother.
The nakedness of your father's brother you shall not uncover; to his wife (ishah) you shall not approach; she is your aunt.
The nakedness of your daughter-in-law you shall not uncover; she is your son's wife (ishah), you shall not uncover her nakedness.
The nakedness of your brother's wife (ishah) you shall not uncover; it is your brother's nakedness.
The nakedness of a woman (ishah) and her daughter you shall not uncover; you shall not take her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter to uncover her nakedness; they are near kin; it is lewdness.
And a woman (ishah) along with her sister you shall not take, to be a rival, to uncover her nakedness beside her during her life (chai).
And to a woman (ishah) in the separation of her uncleanness you shall not approach to uncover her nakedness.
And to your neighbor's wife (ishah) you shall not give your lying for seed, to be defiled by her.
And from your seed you shall not give to cause to pass over to Molech, and you shall not profane the name of your God: I am YHWH.
And with a male you shall not lie the lyings of a woman (ishah); it is an abomination.
And with any beast you shall not give your lying, to be defiled by it; and a woman (ishah) shall not stand before a beast to mate with it; it is a perversion.
Do not defile yourselves in any of these; for in all these the nations were defiled, which I am casting out from before you.
And the land was defiled, and I visited its iniquity upon it, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.
But you shall keep, you yourselves, my statutes (chuqqot) and my judgments (mishpat), and shall not do any of these abominations — neither the native nor the sojourner who sojourns in your midst.
For all these abominations the men (ish) of the land who were before you did, and the land was defiled.
And let not the land vomit you out when you defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.
For everyone who does any of these abominations — the souls (nephesh) that do them shall be cut off from the midst of their people.
And you shall keep my charge (mishmeret), not to do any of the statutes (chuqqot) of the abominations which were done before you, and you shall not defile yourselves by them: I am YHWH your God.
