And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;
and he said to Aaron, "Take for yourself a calf, a son of the herd, for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, without blemish, and bring them near before YHWH.
And to the sons of Israel you shall speak, saying, 'Take a he-goat of the goats for a sin-offering; and a calf and a lamb, sons of a year, without blemish, for a burnt-offering;
and an ox and a ram for peace-offerings, to sacrifice before YHWH; and a meal-offering mingled with oil; for today YHWH appears to you.'"
And they took that which Moses commanded (tzivvah) to the front of the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed); and all the congregation drew near and stood before YHWH.
And Moses said, "This is the thing which YHWH commanded (tzivvah) that you should do; that the glory of YHWH may appear to you."
And Moses said to Aaron, "Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin-offering and your burnt-offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as YHWH commanded (tzivvah)."
And Aaron drew near to the altar, and slaughtered the calf of the sin-offering, which was for himself.
And the sons of Aaron brought near the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar; and the blood he poured out at the base of the altar.
But the fat, and the kidneys, and the lobe from the liver of the sin-offering, he made smoke on the altar; as YHWH commanded (tzivvah) Moses.
And the flesh (basar) and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp.
And he slaughtered the burnt-offering; and the sons of Aaron delivered to him the blood, and he dashed it on the altar round about.
And the burnt-offering they delivered to him by his pieces, and the head; and he made them smoke on the altar.
And he washed the inwards and the legs, and made them smoke on the burnt-offering on the altar.
And he brought near the offering of the people, and took the goat of the sin-offering which was for the people, and slaughtered it, and offered it for sin, as the first.
And he brought near the burnt-offering, and offered it according to the judgment (mishpat).
And he brought near the meal-offering, and filled his palm from it, and made it smoke on the altar; besides the burnt-offering of the morning.
And he slaughtered the ox and the ram, the sacrifice of peace-offerings which was for the people; and the sons of Aaron delivered to him the blood, and he dashed it on the altar round about,
and the fat from the ox, and from the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the inwards, and the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver;
and they placed the fat on the breasts; and he made the fat smoke on the altar.
And the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved as a wave-offering before YHWH; as Moses commanded (tzivvah).
And Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings.
And Moses and Aaron went into the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed), and came out, and blessed the people; and the glory of YHWH appeared to all the people.
And fire came out from before YHWH, and consumed on the altar the burnt-offering and the fat; and all the people saw, and they shouted, and fell on their faces.
