Now there were some present at that very kairos(appointed-time) who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
Yeshua(Jesus) answered and said to them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans were greater sinners than all other Galileans because they suffered these things?
No, I tell you; but unless you metanoete(repent, spiritual domain), you will all likewise perish.
Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them — do you think they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem?
No, I tell you; but unless you metanoete(repent, spiritual domain), you will all likewise perish."
And He began telling this parable: "A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.
So he said to the vinedresser, 'Behold, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and have found none; cut it down! Why should it use up the ground?'
But he answered and said to him, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer.
And if it bears fruit next year, well and good; but if not, cut it down.'"
Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbatons(referring to every Moed of Leviticus 23).
And behold, there was a woman who had had a pneuma(spirit) of sickness for eighteen years, and she was bent over and could not fully straighten herself.
When Yeshua(Jesus) saw her, He called her over and said to her, "Woman, you are freed from your sickness."
And He laid His hands on her; and immediately she was made erect again and began glorifying God.
But the synagogue ruler, indignant because Yeshua(Jesus) had healed on the sabbaton(referring to every Moed of Leviticus 23), answered and said to the crowd, "There are six days in which work ought to be done; so come and be healed on them, and not on the sabbaton(referring to every Moed of Leviticus 23) day."
But the Lord answered him and said, "Hypocrites! Does not each of you on the sabbaton(referring to every Moed of Leviticus 23) untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it?
And this woman, who is a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years — should she not have been freed from this bond on the sabbaton(referring to every Moed of Leviticus 23) day?"
When He said this, all His opponents were put to shame, and the entire crowd was rejoicing over all the glorious things being done by Him.
He was saying therefore, "What is the kingdom of God like, and to what shall I compare it?
It is like a mustard seed that a man took and threw into his garden, and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the heaven nested in its branches."
And again He said, "To what shall I compare the kingdom of God?
It is like zyme(leaven, corruption) that a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour until it was all leavened."
And He was passing through one city and village after another, teaching and proceeding on His way to Jerusalem.
Someone said to Him, "Lord, are only a few being saved?" He said to them,
"Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.
Once the master of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, 'Lord, open up for us!' then He will answer and say to you, 'I do not know where you are from.'
Then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.'
And He will say, 'I tell you, I do not know where you are from; depart from Me, all you workers of anomia(Torah-lessness).'"
There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth in that place when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves thrown out.
And they will come from east and west and north and south and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God.
And behold, some who are last will be first and some who are first will be last."
At that hora(that-hour) some Pharisees came and said to Him, "Get out and go away from here, because Herod wants to kill You."
And He said to them, "Go and tell that fox, 'Behold, I cast out daimonion(individual evil spirits to be expelled) and perform healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I reach My goal.'
Nevertheless I must travel on today and tomorrow and the next day; for it cannot be that a prophet would perish outside of Jerusalem.
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, just as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!
Behold, your house is left to you desolate; and I say to you, you will not see Me until you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!'"
