Micah 5

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

And you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of you shall come forth for me one to be ruler in Israel; and his goings forth are from of old, from the days of eternity (olam).

Therefore he will give them up until the time that she who travails has brought forth; then the rest of his brothers shall return with the children of Israel.

And he shall stand and shepherd in the strength of YHWH, in the majesty of the name of YHWH his God; and they shall dwell, for now he shall be great to the ends of the earth.

And this shall be peace: when Assyria comes into our land, and when he treads in our palaces, then we shall raise against him seven shepherds and eight princes of men (adam).

And they shall shepherd the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in its entrances; and he shall deliver from Assyria, when he comes into our land, and when he treads within our border.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples like dew from YHWH, like showers upon the grass, which does not wait for a man (ish), nor tarry for the sons of men (adam).

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, if he passes through, tramples and tears, and there is none to deliver.

Your hand shall be lifted up over your adversaries, and all your enemies shall be cut off.

And it shall come to pass in that day, declaration of YHWH, that I will cut off your horses from your midst, and destroy your chariots;

And I will cut off the cities of your land, and throw down all your strongholds;

And I will cut off sorceries from your hand, and you shall have no soothsayers;

And I will cut off your graven images and your pillars from your midst; and you shall no longer bow down to the work of your hands.

And I will pluck up your Asherim from your midst, and destroy your cities.

And I will execute vengeance in anger and wrath upon the nations who have not obeyed.
