Numbers 15

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,

"Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, 'When you come into the land of your dwellings which I give to you,

and you make a fire-offering to YHWH, a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering, or in your appointed times (moadim), to make a soothing aroma to YHWH, from the herd or from the flock,

then he who brings his offering shall present to YHWH a grain offering of a tenth of fine flour mixed with the fourth of a hin of oil;

and wine for the drink offering, a fourth of a hin, you shall prepare with the burnt offering or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.

Or for a ram you shall prepare a grain offering of fine flour, two tenths, mixed with the third of a hin of oil;

and wine for the drink offering, a third of a hin, you shall present, a soothing aroma to YHWH.

And when you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a vow or as peace offerings to YHWH,

then he shall present with the young bull a grain offering of fine flour, three tenths, mixed with half a hin of oil.

And wine you shall present for the drink offering, half a hin, a fire-offering, a soothing aroma to YHWH.

Thus shall it be done for each ox, or for each ram, or for a lamb among the sheep, or among the goats.

According to the number that you prepare, so shall you do for each according to their number.

Every native-born shall do these things in this way, to present a fire-offering, a soothing aroma to YHWH.

And when a sojourner sojourns with you, or whoever is among you throughout your generations, and he makes a fire-offering, a soothing aroma to YHWH, as you do, so shall he do.

For the assembly, one statute (chuqqah) for you and for the sojourner who sojourns, a statute (chuqqah) forever throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the sojourner be before YHWH.

One Torah and one judgment (mishpat) shall be for you and for the sojourner who sojourns with you.'"

And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,

"Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, 'When you come into the land where I am bringing you,

then it shall be, when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall set apart a contribution to YHWH.

The first of your dough, a cake you shall set apart as a contribution; like the contribution of the threshing floor, so shall you set it apart.

Of the first of your dough you shall give to YHWH a contribution throughout your generations.

And when you err and do not do all these commandments (mitzvot) which YHWH has spoken to Moses,

all that YHWH commanded (tzivvah) you by the hand of Moses, from the day that YHWH commanded (tzivvah) and onward throughout your generations,

then it shall be, if it is done in error, away from the eyes of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, for a soothing aroma to YHWH, with its grain offering and its drink offering according to the judgment (mishpat), and one male goat for a sin offering.

And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, a fire-offering to YHWH, and their sin offering before YHWH for their error.

And all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the sojourner who sojourns among them; for it happened to all the people in error.

And if one soul (nephesh) sins in error, then it shall offer a female goat in its first year for a sin offering.

And the priest shall make atonement for the soul (nephesh) that errs, when it sins in error, before YHWH, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven.

The native-born among the children of Israel, and the sojourner who sojourns among them—one Torah shall be for you, for him who does anything in error.

But the soul (nephesh) who acts with a high hand, whether native-born or sojourner, he blasphemes YHWH; and that soul (nephesh) shall be cut off from the midst of its people.

Because he has despised the word of YHWH and broken his commandment (mitzvah), that soul (nephesh) shall surely be cut off; its iniquity is upon it.'"

And the children of Israel were in the wilderness, and they found a man (ish) gathering wood on the day of the Shabbat.

And those who found him gathering wood brought him near to Moses and to Aaron and to all the congregation.

And they put him in custody, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.

And YHWH said to Moses, "The man (ish) shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp."

And all the congregation brought him outside the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died, as YHWH commanded (tzivvah) Moses.

And YHWH said to Moses, saying,

"Speak to the children of Israel and say to them that they make for themselves fringes on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and they shall put on the fringe of each corner a cord of blue.

And it shall be for you as a fringe, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments (mitzvot) of YHWH, and do them; and you shall not go about after your own heart and after your own eyes, after which you go whoring;

so that you may remember and do all my commandments (mitzvot), and be holy to your God.

I am YHWH your God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt to be your God: I am YHWH your God.'"
