1A Psalm of David. Of lovingkindness and judgment (mishpat) I will sing; to you, YHWH, I will sing praises.
2I will give heed to the way of integrity—when will you come to me?—I will walk in the integrity of my heart within my house.
3I will not set before my eyes a worthless thing; the doing of crooked things I hate; it shall not cling to me.
4A perverse heart shall turn away from me; evil I will not know.
5The one who slanders his neighbor in secret, him I will destroy; the haughty of eyes and proud of heart, him I cannot endure.
6My eyes are upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; the one walking in a way of integrity, he shall minister to me.
7He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who speaks lies shall not be established before my eyes.
8Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land, to cut off from the city of YHWH all workers of iniquity.
