Psalms 119

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

Happy are the perfect of way, who walk in the Torah of YHWH.

Happy are those who keep his testimonies (edot), who seek him with all the heart.

Yea, they have not done injustice; in his ways they have walked.

You yourself have commanded (tzivvah) your precepts to be kept diligently.

Oh that my ways were established to keep your statutes (chuqqim)!

Then I shall not be ashamed, when I look to all your commandments (mitzvot).

I will praise you with uprightness of heart, when I learn the judgments (mishpat) of your righteousness.

Your statutes (chuqqim) I will keep; do not forsake me utterly.

By what does a young man keep his path pure? By guarding it according to your word.

With all my heart I have sought you; do not let me stray from your commandments (mitzvot).

In my heart I have stored up your saying, so that I may not sin against you.

Blessed are you, YHWH; teach me your statutes (chuqqim).

With my lips I have recounted all the judgments (mishpat) of your mouth.

In the way of your testimonies (edot) I have rejoiced, as over all riches.

In your precepts I will meditate, and I will regard your paths.

In your statutes (chuqqot) I will delight myself; I will not forget your word.

Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live, and I will keep your word.

Uncover my eyes, that I may behold wonders out of your Torah.

A sojourner am I in the earth; do not hide from me your commandments (mitzvot).

My soul (nephesh) is crushed with longing for your judgments (mishpat) at every time.

You have rebuked the insolent, the cursed, who stray from your commandments (mitzvot).

Roll away from me reproach and contempt, for your testimonies (edot) I have kept.

Even princes have sat and spoken against me; your servant meditates on your statutes (chuqqim).

Also your testimonies (edot) are my delight, the men (ish) of my counsel.

My soul (nephesh) clings to the dust (aphar); give me life according to your word.

My ways I have recounted, and you answered me; teach me your statutes (chuqqim).

Make me understand the way of your precepts, and I will meditate on your wonders.

My soul (nephesh) melts away from grief; sustain me according to your word.

Remove from me the way of falsehood, and graciously grant me your Torah.

The way of faithfulness I have chosen; your judgments (mishpat) I have set before me.

I cling to your testimonies (edot); YHWH, do not put me to shame.

The way of your commandments (mitzvot) I will run, for you enlarge my heart.

Teach me, YHWH, the way of your statutes (chuqqim), and I will keep it to the end.

Make me understand, that I may keep your Torah and observe it with all the heart.

Make me tread in the path of your commandments (mitzvot), for in it I have delighted.

Incline my heart to your testimonies (edot), and not to gain.

Turn away my eyes from seeing vanity; in your way give me life.

Confirm to your servant your saying, which is for your fear.

Turn away my reproach which I dread, for your judgments (mishpat) are good.

Behold, I have longed for your precepts; in your righteousness give me life.

And let your acts of lovingkindness come to me, YHWH, your salvation according to your saying.

And I will answer the one who taunts me a word, for I have trusted in your word.

And do not take from my mouth the word of truth utterly, for in your judgment (mishpat) I have hoped.

And I will keep your Torah continually, forever and ever.

And I will walk about in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts.

And I will speak of your testimonies (edot) before kings, and not be ashamed.

And I will delight myself in your commandments (mitzvot), which I have loved.

And I will lift up my hands to your commandments (mitzvot), which I have loved, and I will meditate on your statutes (chuqqim).

Remember the word to your servant, upon which you have made me hope.

This is my comfort in my affliction, that your saying has given me life.

The insolent have utterly mocked me; from your Torah I have not turned aside.

I have remembered your judgments (mishpat) from of old, YHWH, and I comforted myself.

Burning indignation has seized me because of the wicked who forsake your Torah.

Songs your statutes (chuqqim) have been to me in the house of my sojourning.

I have remembered in the night your name, YHWH, and I have kept your Torah.

This has been mine, that I have kept your precepts.

My portion is YHWH; I have said that I would keep your words.

I have entreated your face with all the heart; be gracious to me according to your saying.

I have considered my ways, and turned my feet to your testimonies (edot).

I hastened and did not delay to keep your commandments (mitzvot).

The cords of the wicked have surrounded me; your Torah I have not forgotten.

At midnight I rise to praise you, because of the judgments (mishpat) of your righteousness.

A companion am I to all who fear you, and to those who keep your precepts.

Your lovingkindness, YHWH, fills the earth; teach me your statutes (chuqqim).

Good you have done with your servant, YHWH, according to your word.

Good discernment and knowledge teach me, for in your commandments (mitzvot) I have believed.

Before I was afflicted, I was going astray; but now your saying I have kept.

Good are you and doing good; teach me your statutes (chuqqim).

The insolent have smeared falsehood upon me; I, with all the heart, keep your precepts.

Their heart is gross like fat; I delight in your Torah.

Good for me that I was afflicted, so that I might learn your statutes (chuqqim).

Better to me is the Torah of your mouth than thousands of gold and silver.

Your hands have made me and established me; make me understand, that I may learn your commandments (mitzvot).

Those who fear you see me and rejoice, for in your word I have hoped.

I know, YHWH, that your judgments (mishpat) are righteous, and in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

Let your lovingkindness, I pray, be to comfort me, according to your saying to your servant.

Let your compassions come to me, that I may live, for your Torah is my delight.

Let the insolent be ashamed, for with falsehood they have wronged me; I will meditate on your precepts.

Let those who fear you return to me, and those who know your testimonies (edot).

Let my heart be perfect in your statutes (chuqqim), so that I may not be ashamed.

My soul (nephesh) has pined for your salvation; in your word I have hoped.

My eyes have failed for your saying, saying, "When will you comfort me?"

For I have become like a wineskin in smoke; your statutes (chuqqim) I have not forgotten.

How many are the days of your servant? When will you execute judgment (mishpat) on my pursuers?

The insolent have dug pits for me, which are not according to your Torah.

All your commandments (mitzvot) are faithfulness; with falsehood they persecute me; help me.

Almost they have consumed me in the earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts.

According to your lovingkindness give me life, and I will keep the testimony (edut) of your mouth.

Forever, YHWH, your word stands firm in the heavens.

To generation and generation is your faithfulness; you established the earth, and it stands.

By your judgments (mishpat) they stand this day, for all are your servants.

Unless your Torah had been my delight, then I would have perished in my affliction.

Forever I will not forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.

Yours am I; save me (yasha), for your precepts I have sought.

For me the wicked have waited to destroy me; your testimonies (edot) I consider.

To every perfection I have seen a limit; your commandment (mitzvah) is exceedingly broad.

How I love your Torah! All the day it is my meditation.

Your commandments (mitzvot) make me wiser than my enemies, for forever it is mine.

More than all my teachers I have gained insight, for your testimonies (edot) are my meditation.

More than elders I understand, for your precepts I have kept.

From every evil path I have restrained my feet, so that I might keep your word.

From your judgments (mishpat) I have not turned aside, for you yourself have instructed me.

How sweet to my palate is your saying, more than honey to my mouth!

From your precepts I gain understanding; therefore I hate every path of falsehood.

A lamp to my foot is your word, and a light to my path.

I have sworn, and I will confirm it, to keep the judgments (mishpat) of your righteousness.

I am afflicted very much; YHWH, give me life according to your word.

The freewill offerings of my mouth accept, I pray, YHWH, and your judgments (mishpat) teach me.

My soul (nephesh) is in my palm continually, yet your Torah I have not forgotten.

The wicked have set a snare for me, yet from your precepts I have not strayed.

I have inherited your testimonies (edot) forever, for they are the joy of my heart.

I have inclined my heart to do your statutes (chuqqim), forever, to the end.

The double-minded I hate, but your Torah I love.

My hiding place and my shield are you; in your word I have hoped.

Depart from me, evildoers, that I may keep the commandments (mitzvot) of my God.

Uphold me according to your saying, that I may live, and do not put me to shame for my hope.

Sustain me, that I may be saved (yasha), and I will gaze on your statutes (chuqqim) continually.

You have made light of all who stray from your statutes (chuqqim), for their deceit is falsehood.

Like dross you have put an end to all the wicked of the earth; therefore I love your testimonies (edot).

My flesh (basar) shudders from dread of you, and of your judgments (mishpat) I am afraid.

I have done judgment (mishpat) and righteousness; do not leave me to my oppressors.

Be surety for your servant for good; let not the insolent oppress me.

My eyes have failed for your salvation (yeshuah), and for the saying of your righteousness.

Deal with your servant according to your lovingkindness, and teach me your statutes (chuqqim).

Your servant am I; make me understand, that I may know your testimonies (edot).

It is time to act for YHWH; they have broken your Torah.

Therefore I love your commandments (mitzvot) more than gold, and more than fine gold.

Therefore I esteem right all precepts concerning everything; every path of falsehood I hate.

Wonderful are your testimonies (edot); therefore my soul (nephesh) keeps them.

The opening of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

My mouth I opened wide and panted, for I longed for your commandments (mitzvot).

Turn to me and be gracious to me, as is the judgment (mishpat) for those who love your name.

My steps establish by your saying, and let no iniquity rule over me.

Redeem me from the oppression of man (adam), and I will keep your precepts.

Make your face shine upon your servant, and teach me your statutes (chuqqim).

Streams of water run down my eyes, because they have not kept your Torah.

Righteous are you, YHWH, and upright are your judgments (mishpat).

You have commanded (tzivvah) your testimonies (edot) in righteousness, and exceeding faithfulness.

My zeal has consumed me, for my adversaries have forgotten your words.

Refined is your saying exceedingly, and your servant loves it.

Small am I and despised; your precepts I have not forgotten.

Your righteousness is righteousness forever, and your Torah is truth.

Distress and anguish have found me; your commandments (mitzvot) are my delight.

Righteousness are your testimonies (edot) forever; make me understand, that I may live.

I have called with all the heart; answer me, YHWH; your statutes (chuqqim) I will keep.

I have called you; save me (yasha), and I will keep your testimonies (edot).

I have risen early in the twilight and cried out; in your word I have hoped.

My eyes have anticipated the night watches, to meditate on your saying.

My voice hear according to your lovingkindness; YHWH, according to your judgment (mishpat) give me life.

They have drawn near, the pursuers of wickedness; from your Torah they are far.

Near are you, YHWH, and all your commandments (mitzvot) are truth.

Of old I have known from your testimonies (edot) that you founded them forever.

See my affliction and deliver me, for your Torah I have not forgotten.

Plead my cause and redeem me; according to your saying give me life.

Far from the wicked is salvation (yeshuah), for your statutes (chuqqim) they have not sought.

Your compassions are many, YHWH; according to your judgments (mishpat) give me life.

Many are my pursuers and my adversaries; from your testimonies (edot) I have not turned aside.

I have seen the treacherous and loathed them, because your saying they have not kept.

See that I love your precepts; YHWH, according to your lovingkindness give me life.

The sum of your word is truth, and forever is every judgment (mishpat) of your righteousness.

Princes have persecuted me without cause, but at your word my heart is in dread.

Rejoicing am I over your saying, like one who finds great spoil.

Falsehood I hate and abhor; your Torah I love.

Seven times in the day I have praised you, because of the judgments (mishpat) of your righteousness.

Great peace have those who love your Torah, and there is no stumbling-block for them.

I have waited for your salvation (yeshuah), YHWH, and your commandments (mitzvot) I have done.

My soul (nephesh) has kept your testimonies (edot), and I love them exceedingly.

I have kept your precepts and your testimonies (edot), for all my ways are before you.

Let my cry come near before you, YHWH; according to your word make me understand.

Let my supplication come before you; according to your saying deliver me.

Let my lips pour forth praise, for you teach me your statutes (chuqqim).

Let my tongue sing your saying, for all your commandments (mitzvot) are righteousness.

Let your hand be to help me, for your precepts I have chosen.

I have longed for your salvation (yeshuah), YHWH, and your Torah is my delight.

Let my soul (nephesh) live, and it will praise you; and let your judgments (mishpat) help me.

I have strayed like a lost sheep; seek your servant, for your commandments (mitzvot) I have not forgotten.
