1Praise Yah! Praise the name of YHWH; praise, servants of YHWH,
2who stand in the house of YHWH, in the courts of the house of our God.
3Praise Yah, for YHWH is good; sing praises to his name, for it is pleasant.
4For Yah has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel for his treasured possession.
5For I know that YHWH is great, and our Lord (Adonai) is above all gods.
6All that YHWH desired he did, in the heavens and in the earth, in the seas and all the deeps.
7He causes the vapors to rise from the end of the earth, he makes lightnings for the rain, he brings forth spirit (ruach) from his treasuries.
8Who struck the firstborn of Egypt, from man (adam) to beast.
9He sent signs (ot) and wonders (mofet) in your midst, O Egypt, against Pharaoh and against all his servants.
10Who struck many nations, and slew mighty kings:
11Sihon king of the Amorite, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;
12and he gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.
13YHWH, your name is forever; YHWH, your memorial is to generation and generation.
14For YHWH will judge his people, and concerning his servants he will relent.
15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of the hands of man (adam).
16They have a mouth, but they speak not; they have eyes, but they see not;
17they have ears, but they hear not; also there is no spirit (ruach) in their mouths.
18Like them shall be those who make them, everyone who trusts in them.
19House of Israel, bless YHWH; house of Aaron, bless YHWH;
20house of Levi, bless YHWH; you who fear YHWH, bless YHWH.
21Blessed be YHWH out of Zion, who dwells at Jerusalem. Praise Yah!
