Of David. To you, YHWH, my soul (nephesh) I lift up.
My God, in you I have trusted; let me not be ashamed; let not my enemies exult over me.
Indeed, all who wait for you shall not be ashamed; ashamed shall be those who deal treacherously without cause.
Your ways, YHWH, make me to know; your paths teach me.
Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation (yeshuah); for you I wait all the day.
Remember your compassions, YHWH, and your kindnesses, for from of old they are.
The sins of my youth and my transgressions do not remember; according to your kindness remember me, you, for the sake of your goodness, YHWH.
Good and upright is YHWH; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in judgment (mishpat), and he teaches the humble his way.
All the paths of YHWH are kindness and truth to those who keep his covenant (berit) and his testimonies (edot).
For the sake of your name, YHWH, you shall pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
Who is this, the man (ish) who fears YHWH? He will instruct him in the way he should choose.
His soul (nephesh) shall lodge in goodness, and his seed shall inherit the land.
The counsel of YHWH is for those who fear him, and his covenant (berit), to make them know it.
My eyes are continually toward YHWH, for he brings forth my feet out of the net.
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am solitary and afflicted.
The troubles of my heart have enlarged; out of my distresses bring me forth.
See my affliction and my toil, and lift away all my sins.
See my enemies, for they are many, and with violent hatred they hate me.
Keep my soul (nephesh) and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I have taken refuge in you.
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.
Redeem Israel, God, out of all his troubles.
