2Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered, and let those who hate Him flee from before Him.
3As smoke is driven away, you drive them away; as wax melts before the fire, let the wicked perish before God.
4And let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God, and let them rejoice with gladness.
5Sing to God, sing praises to His name; cast up a highway for Him who rides upon the clouds — by Yah is His name — and exult before Him.
6A father of orphans and a judge of widows is God in His holy habitation.
7God causes the solitary to dwell in a house; He brings out prisoners into prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
8O God, when you went out before your people, when you marched through the wasteland, Selah.
9the earth trembled, also the heavens dropped before God; this Sinai, before God, the God of Israel.
10A rain of bounty you poured down, O God; your inheritance, when it was weary, you yourself established it.
11Your living company (chai) dwelt in it; you prepare in your goodness for the poor, O God.
12My Lord (Adonai) gives the word; the women who proclaim the news are a great host.
13Kings of armies flee, they flee; and she who abides at home divides the spoil.
14Though you lie down among the sheepfolds, the wings of a dove are covered with silver, and her pinions with the green-gold of fine gold.
15When Shaddai scattered kings in it, it snowed on Zalmon.
16A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; a mountain of peaks is the mountain of Bashan.
17Why do you look with envy, you mountains of peaks, at the mountain God has desired for His dwelling? Yea, YHWH will dwell there forever.
18The chariots of God are myriads, thousands upon thousands; my Lord (Adonai) is among them, Sinai in holiness.
19You ascended on high, you led captivity captive; you received gifts among men (adam), and even among the rebellious, that Yah God might dwell there.
20Blessed be my Lord (Adonai); day by day He bears our burden, the God, our salvation (yeshuah). Selah.
21The God is for us a God of deliverances; and to YHWH, my Lord (Adonai), belong the ways of escape from death.
22Surely God will shatter the head of His enemies, the hairy scalp of him who walks about in his guilt.
23My Lord (Adonai) said, "From Bashan I will bring them back, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea,
24so that your foot may wade in blood, the tongue of your dogs has its portion from the enemies."
25They saw your processions, O God, the processions of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.
26The singers went before, the minstrels after, in the midst of maidens playing timbrels.
27In the assemblies bless God, YHWH, you who are from the fountain of Israel.
28There is Benjamin, the little one, ruling them, the princes of Judah in their throng, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
29Your God has commanded (tzivvah) your strength; be strong, O God, you who have wrought for us.
30From your temple over Jerusalem, to you kings will bring tribute.
31Rebuke the living thing (chai) of the reed, the herd of bulls with the calves of the peoples, each submitting himself with pieces of silver. He has scattered the peoples who delight in battles.
32Nobles shall come out of Egypt; Cush shall quickly stretch out her hands to God.
33O kingdoms of the earth, sing to God; sing praises to my Lord (Adonai), Selah.
34to Him who rides upon the heavens of heavens of old; lo, He utters His voice, a mighty voice.
35Ascribe strength to God; His majesty is over Israel, and His strength is in the skies.
36Awesome is God from your sanctuaries; the God of Israel, He gives strength and might to the people. Blessed be God.
