Psalms 9

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

For the leader, upon Muth-labben. A psalm of David.

I will give thanks to YHWH with all my heart; I will recount all your wonders.

I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High (Elyon).

When my enemies turn back, they stumble and perish from before your face.

For you have done my judgment (mishpat) and my judgment (din); you have sat upon the throne, judging righteousness.

You have rebuked the nations, you have destroyed the wicked; you have blotted out their name forever and ever.

The enemy—they are finished, ruins forever; and the cities you have uprooted, their memory has perished, they themselves.

And YHWH sits forever; he has established his throne for judgment (mishpat).

And he judges the world in righteousness; he judges the peoples with equity.

And YHWH is a stronghold for the crushed, a stronghold in times of trouble.

And those who know your name trust in you, for you have not forsaken those who seek you, O YHWH.

Sing praise to YHWH who dwells in Zion; declare among the peoples his deeds.

For he who requires blood remembers them; he has not forgotten the cry of the humble.

Be gracious to me, O YHWH; see my affliction from those who hate me, you who lift me up from the gates of death;

So that I may recount all your praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion; I will rejoice in your salvation (yeshuah).

The nations have sunk in the pit they made; in the net which they hid their own foot is caught.

YHWH is made known, he has done judgment (mishpat); in the work of his own hands the wicked is snared. Higgaion. Selah.

The wicked return to Sheol, all the nations that forget God.

For the needy will not be forgotten forever; the hope of the afflicted will not perish forever.

Arise, O YHWH, let not man prevail; let the nations be judged before your face.

Set, O YHWH, terror over them; let the nations know that they are but man. Selah.
