Revelation 1

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

The apokalypsis(unveiling) of Yeshua(Jesus) Messiah(Christ), which God gave Him to show His servants what must happen soon, and He signified it by sending it through His angel to His servant John,

who bore witness to the logos(word, message) of God and to the testimony of Yeshua(Jesus) Messiah(Christ) — everything he saw.

Blessed is the one who reads aloud and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep what is written in it, for the kairos(appointed-time) is near.

John to the seven ekklesia(called-out communities) in Asia: charis(grace) to you and eirene(peace) from God who is and who was and who is coming, and from the seven pneumata(spirits) that are before His throne,

and from Yeshua(Jesus) Messiah(Christ), the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth — to Him who agapao(loves) us and has washed us from our sins by His blood

and has made us a kingdom, priests to God and His Father — to Him be doxa(glory) and kratos(dominion) forever and ever. Amen.

Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him — yes, amen.

"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty.

I, John, your brother and koinonos(one-sharing-together) in the suffering and kingdom and steadfast endurance in Messiah(Christ) Yeshua(Jesus), came to be on the island called Patmos on account of the logos(word, message) of God and on account of the testimony of Yeshua(Jesus) Messiah(Christ).

I came to be in the pneuma(spirit) on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a great voice like a trumpet,

saying, "What you see, write in a biblion(scroll) and send it to the seven ekklesia(called-out communities): to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamum, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."

And I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me, and having turned I saw seven golden lampstands,

and in the midst of the seven lampstands one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet and girded around the chest with a golden belt.

His head and hair were white as white wool, white as snow, and His eyes were like a flame of fire,

and His feet were like chalkolibanon(burnished-bronze), as if refined in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters.

In His right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth a sharp double-edged sword was coming out, and His face was like the sun shining in its dynamis(power).

When I saw Him I fell at His feet as though dead, and He placed His right hand on me saying, "Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last,

and the Living One — I became dead, and behold, I am alive forever and ever. Amen. And I hold the keys of death and of hades(realm-of-the-dead).

So write what you saw, and what is, and what is about to happen after these things.

The mysterion(mystery) of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven ekklesia(called-out communities), and the seven lampstands are seven ekklesia(called-out communities).
