And to the angel of the ekklesia(called-out community) in Sardis write: these things says the One who has the seven pneumata(spirits) of God and the seven stars — I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
Wake up and strengthen the remaining things that were about to die, for I have not found your works complete before my God.
So remember how you received and heard, and keep it and metanoeson(repent, spiritual domain); if therefore you do not wake up, I will come upon you like a thief, and you will not know at what hora(that-hour) I will come upon you.
But you have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.
The one who overcomes will be clothed in white garments, and I will by no means erase his name from the biblos(scroll) of zoe(life), and I will confess his name before my Father and before His angels.
Let the one who has an ear hear what the pneuma(spirit) says to the ekklesia(called-out communities).
And to the angel of the ekklesia(called-out community) in Philadelphia write: these things says the Holy One, the alethinos(True, Genuine) One, the One who has the key of David — the One who opens and no one will shut, and shuts and no one opens:
I know your works — behold, I have set before you an opened door that no one is able to shut — because you have a little dynamis(power) and have kept my logos(word, message) and have not denied my name.
Behold, I am giving those from the synagogue of Satan, those claiming to be Jews themselves and are not but are lying — behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet and know that I have agapao(loved) you.
Because you have kept my logos(word, message) of steadfast endurance, I also will keep you from the hora(that-hour) of testing that is about to come upon the whole inhabited world to test those dwelling on the earth.
I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have so that no one takes your crown.
The one who overcomes — I will make him a pillar in the naos(sanctuary-temple) of my God, and he will by no means go out from it anymore, and I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God — the new Jerusalem, which comes down from heaven from my God — and my new name.
Let the one who has an ear hear what the pneuma(spirit) says to the ekklesia(called-out communities).
And to the angel of the ekklesia(called-out community) in Laodicea write: these things says the Amen, the faithful and alethinos(true, genuine) witness, the beginning of the creation of God:
I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot; would that you were cold or hot.
So because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
Because you say, "I am rich and have become wealthy and have need of nothing," and you do not know that you are the wretched and pitiful and poor and blind and naked one,
I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed, and kollyrion(eye-salve) to anoint your eyes so that you may see.
Those whom I phileo(love) I rebuke and discipline; so be zealous and metanoeson(repent, spiritual domain).
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him and he with me.
To the one who overcomes I will grant to sit with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne.
Let the one who has an ear hear what the pneuma(spirit) says to the ekklesia(called-out communities).
