1And I saw in the right hand of the One seated on the throne a biblion(scroll) written on the inside and on the outside, sealed with seven seals.
2And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a great voice, "Who is worthy to open the biblion(scroll) and to break its seals?"
3And no one in heaven above or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the biblion(scroll) or to look into it.
4And I was weeping greatly because no worthy one was found to open the biblion(scroll) or to look into it.
5And one of the elders says to me, "Do not weep; behold, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has overcome to open the biblion(scroll) and its seven seals."
6And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures and in the midst of the elders a Lamb standing as though slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven pneumata(spirits) of God sent out into all the earth.
7And He came and took it from the right hand of the One seated on the throne.
8And when He took the biblion(scroll), the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, each holding a kithara(harp) and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the holy ones.
9And they sing a new song, saying, "Worthy are You to take the biblion(scroll) and to open its seals, because You were slaughtered and purchased for God by Your blood people from every tribe and tongue and people and ethnos(nation, Gentile-people),
10and You have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth."
11And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders, and their number was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands,
12saying with a great voice, "Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered to receive dynamis(power) and wealth and sophia(wisdom) and ischus(strength) and honor and doxa(glory) and blessing."
13And every created thing that is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea and everything in them — I heard all of them saying, "To the One seated on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and doxa(glory) and kratos(dominion) forever and ever. Amen."
14And the four living creatures kept saying, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped.
