Brothers, the desire of my kardia(heart, soul-domain) and my prayer to God on behalf of Israel is for Salvation.
For I bear witness to them that they have zeal for God, but not according to epignosis(spiritual, complete knowledge).
For not knowing the dikaiosyne(righteousness) of God and seeking to establish their own dikaiosyne(righteousness), they did not submit to the dikaiosyne(righteousness) of God.
For Messiah(Christ) is the telos(goal, completion) of the nomos(law) for dikaiosyne(righteousness) to everyone who believes.
For Moses writes concerning the dikaiosyne(righteousness) that is by the nomos(law): "The person who does these things shall live by them."
But the dikaiosyne(righteousness) that is by faith speaks thus: "Do not say in your kardia(heart, soul-domain), 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" — that is, to bring Messiah(Christ) down —
"or, 'Who will descend into the abyss?'" — that is, to bring Messiah(Christ) up from the dead.
But what does it say? "The rhema(spoken-word) is near you — in your mouth and in your kardia(heart, soul-domain)" — that is, the rhema(spoken-word) of faith which we proclaim:
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Yeshua(Jesus) and believe in your kardia(heart, soul-domain) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the kardia(heart, soul-domain) one believes resulting in dikaiosyne(righteousness), and with the mouth one confesses resulting in Salvation.
For the graphe(written-scripture) says: "Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame."
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is Lord over all, abounding in riches to all who call upon Him;
for "everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved."
How then will they call upon the One in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without someone proclaiming?
And how will they proclaim unless they are sent? Just as it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who proclaim good news of eirene(peace), of those who proclaim good things."
But not all obeyed the good news, for Isaiah says: "Lord, who believed our report?"
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the rhema(spoken-word) of God.
But I say — did they not hear? On the contrary: "Their voice went out into all the earth, and their rhemata(spoken-words) to the ends of the inhabited world."
But I say — did Israel not know? First Moses says: "I will provoke you to jealousy by those who are not a nation; by a foolish nation I will anger you."
And Isaiah is bold and says: "I was found by those who did not seek Me; I became manifest to those who did not ask for Me."
But to Israel He says: "All day long I stretched out My hands to a disobedient and contradicting people."
