There is therefore now no katakrima(condemnation) to those who are in Messiah(Christ) Yeshua(Jesus), who do not walk according to the sarx(flesh) but according to the pneuma(spirit).
For the nomos(law) of the pneuma(spirit) of zoe(life) in Messiah(Christ) Yeshua(Jesus) has set me free from the nomos(law) of sin and of death.
For what was impossible for the nomos(law) — in that it was weak through the sarx(flesh) — God, by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful sarx(flesh) and concerning sin, katakrino(condemned) sin in the sarx(flesh),
so that the dikaioma(ordinance) of the nomos(law) might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the sarx(flesh) but according to the pneuma(spirit).
For those who are according to the sarx(flesh) set their phronema(mindset) on the things of the sarx(flesh), but those according to the pneuma(spirit), the things of the pneuma(spirit).
For the phronema(mindset) of the sarx(flesh) is death, but the phronema(mindset) of the pneuma(spirit) is zoe(life) and eirene(peace).
Because the phronema(mindset) of the sarx(flesh) is hostility toward God, for it does not submit to the nomos(law) of God — indeed it cannot —
and those who are in the sarx(flesh) cannot please God.
But you are not in the sarx(flesh) but in the pneuma(spirit), if indeed the pneuma(spirit) of God dwells in you; but if anyone does not have the pneuma(spirit) of Messiah(Christ), this one does not belong to Him.
But if Messiah(Christ) is in you, the body is dead because of sin, yet the pneuma(spirit) is zoe(life) because of dikaiosyne(righteousness).
But if the pneuma(spirit) of the One who raised Yeshua(Jesus) from the dead dwells in you, the One who raised Messiah(Christ) from the dead will also give zoe(life) to your mortal bodies through His pneuma(spirit) who dwells in you.
So then, brothers, we are debtors — not to the sarx(flesh), to live according to the sarx(flesh) —
for if you live according to the sarx(flesh), you are about to die; but if by the pneuma(spirit) you put to death the practices of the body, you will live.
For as many as are led by the pneuma(spirit) of God, these are sons of God.
For you did not receive a pneuma(spirit) of slavery leading back to fear, but you received a pneuma(spirit) of huiothesia(adoption, sonship) by which we cry out, "Abba, the Father."
The pneuma(spirit) Himself bears witness with our pneuma(spirit) that we are children of God,
and if children, then heirs — heirs of God and co-heirs with Messiah(Christ), if indeed we suffer together so that we may also be glorified together.
For I consider that the sufferings of the present kairos(appointed-time) are not worth comparing to the glory that is about to be revealed to us.
For the eager expectation of the creation awaits the revelation of the sons of God.
For the creation was subjected to futility — not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it — in elpis(hope)
that the creation itself also will be set free from the slavery of corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
For we know that the whole creation groans together and travails together until now.
And not only that, but also we ourselves, having the first-fruits of the pneuma(spirit), we also groan within ourselves, awaiting huiothesia(adoption, sonship) — the apolytrosis(redemption, ransom-release) of our body.
For we were saved in elpis(hope); but elpis(hope) that is seen is not elpis(hope), for why does one elpis(hope) for what he sees?
But if we elpis(hope) for what we do not see, we await it with perseverance.
And likewise the pneuma(spirit) also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the pneuma(spirit) Himself intercedes for us with unutterable groanings.
And the One who searches the kardia(heart, soul-domain)s knows what the phronema(mindset) of the pneuma(spirit) is, because He intercedes for the holy ones according to God.
And we know that for those who agapao(love) God all things work together for good — for those who are called according to His purpose.
Because those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He might be the firstborn among many brothers.
And those whom He predestined, these He also called; and those whom He called, these He also justified; and those whom He justified, these He also glorified.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all — how will He not also, with Him, freely give us all things?
Who will bring a charge against the chosen ones of God? God is the one who justifies.
Who is the one who katakrino(condemns)? Messiah(Christ) Yeshua(Jesus) is the one who died — yes, rather, who was raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
Who will separate us from the agape(love) of Messiah(Christ)? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
As it is written: "For your sake we are being put to death all day long; we were counted as sheep of slaughter."
But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor zoe(life), nor angels, nor rulers, nor dynamis(powers, power), nor things present, nor things to come,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the agape(love) of God that is in Messiah(Christ) Yeshua(Jesus) our Lord.
