And I lifted up my eyes and saw, and behold, four horns.
And I said to the angel that spoke with me, What are these? And he said to me, These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
And YHWH showed me four craftsmen.
And I said, What are these coming to do? And he spoke, saying, These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no man (ish) lifted up his head; and these have come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations that lifted up a horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.
And I lifted up my eyes and saw, and behold, a man (ish) with a measuring line in his hand.
And I said, Where are you going? And he said to me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its breadth and what is its length.
And behold, the angel that spoke with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,
and said to him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall dwell as unwalled villages, because of the multitude of man (adam) and beast in its midst.
And I, declares YHWH, will be to her a wall of fire round about, and I will be for glory in her midst.
Ho, ho, flee from the land of the north, declares YHWH; for as the four spirits (ruach) of the heavens I have spread you abroad, declares YHWH.
Ho, Zion, escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.
For thus says YHWH of hosts (tzevaot): After glory he has sent me to the nations that plunder you; for he that touches you touches the apple of his eye.
For behold, I will wave my hand over them, and they shall be a spoil to those that served them; and you shall know that YHWH of hosts (tzevaot) has sent me.
Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for behold, I come, and I will dwell in your midst, declares YHWH.
And many nations shall join themselves to YHWH in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that YHWH of hosts (tzevaot) has sent me to you.
And YHWH shall inherit Judah as his portion upon the holy ground (adamah), and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
Be silent, all flesh (basar), before YHWH; for he is roused up from the habitation of his holiness.
