한국어·영어 본문 읽어주기는 대부분의 기기에 이미 들어 있어 따로 하실 일이 없습니다. 히브리어와 그리스어만 아래와 같이 받으시면 됩니다. Korean and English voices are already on most devices — nothing to do there. Only Hebrew and Greek need the steps below.

A안드로이드 (갤럭시 등)Android (Galaxy and others)

1. 구글 음성 엔진을 설치하거나 최신으로 업데이트하세요Install or update Google's voice engine 플레이스토어에서 Speech Recognition & Synthesis (만든 곳: Google)를 찾아 설치 또는 업데이트하세요. 예전 이름은 Speech Services by Google입니다. In the Play Store, find Speech Recognition & Synthesis (by Google) and tap Install or Update. Its former name was Speech Services by Google.
2. 설정에서 ‘텍스트 음성 변환’ 화면을 여세요Open the Text-to-speech settings screen 갤럭시 기준 경로입니다. Path on a Samsung Galaxy: 설정 → 일반 (General management) → 화면 맨 아래까지 내리면 Looking for something else? 아래에 텍스트 음성 변환 (Text-to-speech) Settings → General management → scroll to the very bottom; under Looking for something else? tap Text-to-speech 기기마다 위치가 다릅니다. 못 찾으시면 설정의 돋보기(검색)에 음성 또는 text to speech를 입력하시는 것이 가장 빠릅니다. The location differs by phone. If you cannot find it, the fastest way is the search icon in Settings — type text to speech.
3. 선호 엔진을 구글로 바꾸세요Change the preferred engine to Google 선호 엔진 (Preferred engine)을 눌러 Speech Recognition and Synthesis from Google을 선택하세요. Tap Preferred engine and choose Speech Recognition and Synthesis from Google. 가장 많이 놓치는 단계입니다. 삼성 등 기기 기본 엔진에는 히브리어·그리스어가 없어서, 이걸 바꾸지 않으면 음성을 받아도 소리가 나지 않습니다. This is the step most people miss. Samsung's own engine has no Hebrew or Greek — without this change, nothing will play even after downloading voices.
4. 히브리어·그리스어 음성을 받으세요Download the Hebrew and Greek voices 그 엔진 이름 옆의 톱니바퀴(⚙️)를 누르고 → 음성 데이터 설치 (Install voice data) → 목록에서 히브리어 (עברית / Hebrew)와 그리스어 (Ελληνικά / Greek)를 각각 받으세요. Tap the gear icon (⚙️) next to that engine → Install voice data → from the list download Hebrew (עברית) and Greek (Ελληνικά). 그리스어에서 지역을 물으면 Ελλάδα (그리스)를 고르세요. Κύπρος(키프로스)가 아닙니다. If Greek asks for a region, choose Ελλάδα (Greece) — not Κύπρος (Cyprus).
5. 언어마다 들어가 목소리를 골라 주세요Open each language and pick a voice 같은 화면에서 영어 · 한국어 · 히브리어 · 그리스어를 하나씩 눌러 마음에 드는 목소리를 선택하세요. 이 단계를 건너뛰면 받아 놓고도 소리가 안 나거나 어색하게 들릴 수 있습니다. On the same screen, tap each language — English, Korean, Hebrew, Greek — and select the voice you like. Skipping this can leave a downloaded language silent or odd-sounding.
6. 확인해 보세요Try it 원문 분석 화면으로 돌아가 단어 카드나 전체 듣기를 눌러 보세요. 소리가 나면 끝났습니다. 이제 인터넷이 없어도 들으실 수 있습니다. Go back to the word-analysis page and tap a word card or Listen to the whole verse. If it speaks, you are done — and it will keep working offline.

B아이폰 · 아이패드iPhone & iPad

설정 → 손쉬운 사용 (Accessibility) → 말하기 콘텐츠 (Spoken Content) → 음성 (Voices) 에서 히브리어와 그리스어를 받으시면 됩니다. Go to Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices, then download Hebrew and Greek.

iOS 버전에 따라 메뉴 이름이 조금씩 다를 수 있습니다. 설정 검색창에 음성을 입력하시면 빨리 찾으실 수 있습니다. Menu names vary a little between iOS versions. Searching Voices in Settings is the quickest way there.

C컴퓨터에서 보실 때On a computer

가장 쉬운 방법은 Microsoft Edge 브라우저로 여시는 것입니다. Edge에는 히브리어·그리스어를 포함한 여러 음성이 이미 들어 있어 따로 설치하실 것이 없습니다. The easiest route is to open the site in Microsoft Edge. Edge ships with many voices, Hebrew and Greek included, so there is nothing to install.

윈도우에서 직접 추가하시려면: 설정 → 시간 및 언어 → 음성 → 음성 추가. 맥에서는: 시스템 설정 → 손쉬운 사용 → 말하기 콘텐츠 → 시스템 음성 → 사용자화. To add them in Windows: Settings → Time & language → Speech → Add voices. On a Mac: System Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → System voice → Manage Voices.

?잘 안 될 때If it still does not work

음성을 다 받았는데도 소리가 안 납니다I downloaded the voices but hear nothing

거의 대부분 선호 엔진이 아직 기기 기본 엔진으로 남아 있어서입니다. 위 3단계를 다시 확인해 주세요. 그리고 전화기가 무음·진동 모드가 아닌지, 미디어 볼륨이 올라가 있는지도 봐 주세요. Almost always the preferred engine is still the phone's built-in one. Re-check step 3 above. Also make sure the phone is not on silent/vibrate and that media volume is up.

설치 목록에 히브리어나 그리스어가 없습니다Hebrew or Greek is not in the list

먼저 1단계의 구글 음성 엔진을 최신으로 업데이트한 뒤 다시 열어 보세요. 그래도 없다면 그 기기가 해당 원어 음성을 지원하지 않는 경우입니다. 드물지만 있습니다. 읽기·해설·원문 분석은 그대로 다 되고, 읽어주기만 안 됩니다. Update Google's voice engine (step 1) first, then reopen the list. If it is still missing, that device simply does not offer those voices — uncommon, but it happens. Everything else still works; only the read-aloud does not.

발음이 성경 원어 발음 같지 않습니다The pronunciation is not ancient/biblical

맞습니다. 고대 히브리어·성경 헬라어 전용 음성은 세상에 없습니다. 그래서 현대 히브리어와 현대 그리스어 음성으로 읽어 드립니다. 글자와 단어의 소리를 익히시는 데는 큰 도움이 되지만, 고대 발음 그대로는 아니라는 점을 알고 들어 주세요. Correct. No text-to-speech voice for ancient Hebrew or Koine Greek exists anywhere. What you hear is Modern Hebrew and Modern Greek. It is a real help for learning the letters and the shape of the words, but it is not ancient pronunciation.

인터넷이 없어도 들리나요?Does it work without internet?

네. 음성은 전화기 안에 저장되므로, 한 번 받아 두시면 비행기 안이나 신호가 없는 곳에서도 들으실 수 있습니다. Yes. The voices live on your phone, so once downloaded they work on a plane or anywhere with no signal.
