I saw my Lord (Adonai) standing upon the altar, and he said, "Smite the capital, that the thresholds may shake; and break them off on the head of all of them; and the last of them I will slay with the sword; not one of them that flees shall flee away, and not one of them shall escape as a fugitive.
Though they dig into Sheol, from there my hand shall take them; and though they climb up to the heavens, from there I will bring them down.
And though they hide on the top of Carmel, from there I will search and take them; and though they be hidden from before my eyes in the bottom of the sea, from there I will command (tzivvah) the serpent, and it shall bite them.
And though they go into captivity before their enemies, from there I will command (tzivvah) the sword, and it shall slay them; and I will set my eye upon them for evil, and not for good.
And my Lord (Adonai) YHWH of hosts (tzevaot) is he that touches the land and it melts, and all that dwell in it mourn; and all of it rises up like the Nile, and sinks again, like the Nile of Egypt;
he that builds his upper chambers in the heavens, and has founded his vault upon the earth; he that calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth — YHWH is his name.
"Are you not like the sons of the Cushites to me, O sons of Israel?" declares YHWH. "Did I not bring up Israel from the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor, and Aram from Kir?
Behold, the eyes of my Lord (Adonai) YHWH are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the ground (adamah); except that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob," declares YHWH.
"For behold, I command (tzivvah), and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations, as grain is shaken in a sieve, and not a pebble shall fall to the earth.
By the sword shall all the sinners of my people die, who say, 'The evil shall not overtake nor confront us.'
In that day I will raise up the booth of David that is fallen, and I will wall up their breaches, and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old;
that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations who are called by my name," declares YHWH that does this.
"Behold, days are coming, declares YHWH, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that draws the seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
And I will turn the captivity of my people Israel, and they shall build the desolate cities and dwell in them; and they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and make gardens and eat their fruit.
And I will plant them upon their ground (adamah), and they shall no more be plucked up from off their ground (adamah) which I have given them," says YHWH your God.
