And at that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands over the sons of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as has not been since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone found written in the book.
And many of those sleeping in the ground (adamah) of dust (aphar) shall awake, these to everlasting life (chai), and these to reproaches and to everlasting abhorrence.
And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn the many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.
But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.
And I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others standing, one here on the bank of the river, and one there on the bank of the river.
And one said to the man (ish) clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "Until when shall be the end of the wonders?"
And I heard the man (ish) clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, and he lifted up his right hand and his left hand to the heavens, and swore by the One who lives (chai) forever, that it shall be for an appointed time (moed), appointed times (moadim), and a half; and when the shattering of the power of the holy people is finished, all these things shall be finished.
And I heard, but I did not understand; and I said, "My lord, what shall be the latter end of these?"
And he said, "Go, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.
Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who are wise shall understand.
And from the time the continual is taken away, and the detestable thing that desolates is set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
But you, go your way to the end; and you shall rest, and stand up to your lot at the end of the days.
