1You shall not see your brother's ox or his sheep driven away, and hide yourself from them; you shall surely return them to your brother.
2And if your brother is not near to you, and you do not know him, then you shall gather it into the midst of your house, and it shall be with you until your brother seeks it, and you shall return it to him.
3And so you shall do to his donkey, and so you shall do to his garment, and so you shall do to every lost thing of your brother's, which is lost from him and you have found; you are not able to hide yourself.
4You shall not see your brother's donkey or his ox falling down on the way, and hide yourself from them; you shall surely lift up with him.
5The gear of a man shall not be upon a woman (ishah), and a man shall not put on the garment of a woman (ishah); for an abomination of YHWH your God is everyone doing these.
6When a bird's nest happens to be before you on the way, in any tree or on the earth, young ones or eggs, and the mother crouching upon the young ones or upon the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the sons.
7You shall surely send away the mother, and the young you shall take for yourself; so that it may be good for you, and you may prolong days.
8When you build a new house, then you shall make a parapet for your roof, that you do not put blood in your house, if the falling one falls from it.
9You shall not sow your vineyard with mixed kinds, lest the fullness of the seed which you sow be made holy, and the produce of the vineyard.
10You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together.
11You shall not wear a mingled fabric, wool and linen together.
12Tassels you shall make for yourself upon the four corners of your covering with which you cover yourself.
13If a man (ish) takes a wife (ishah), and goes in to her, and hates her,
14and lays against her wanton charges of words, and brings out upon her an evil name, and says, "This woman (ishah) I took, and I drew near to her, and I did not find in her virginity";
15then the father of the young woman and her mother shall take and bring out the tokens of the young woman's virginity to the elders of the city, to the gate.
16And the father of the young woman shall say to the elders, "My daughter I gave to this man (ish) for a wife (ishah), and he hated her;
17and behold, he has laid wanton charges of words, saying, 'I did not find for your daughter virginity'; and these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity." And they shall spread the garment before the elders of the city.
18And the elders of that city shall take the man (ish) and chasten him,
19and they shall fine him a hundred of silver and give them to the father of the young woman, because he brought out an evil name upon a virgin of Israel; and she shall be to him for a wife (ishah); he is not able to send her away all his days.
20But if this thing was true, virginity was not found for the young woman,
21then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father's house, and the men (ish) of her city shall stone her with stones, that she die; because she has done folly in Israel, to play the harlot in her father's house; so you shall put away the evil from your midst.
22If a man (ish) is found lying with a woman (ishah) married to a husband, then they shall die, even both of them, the man (ish) who lay with the woman (ishah), and the woman (ishah); so you shall put away the evil from Israel.
23If there is a young woman, a virgin betrothed to a man (ish), and a man (ish) finds her in the city, and lies with her,
24then you shall bring out both of them to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them with stones, that they die: the young woman, because she did not cry out in the city, and the man (ish), because he humbled his neighbor's wife (ishah); so you shall put away the evil from your midst.
25But if in the field the man (ish) finds the betrothed young woman, and the man (ish) seizes her and lies with her, then the man (ish) who lay with her shall die alone.
26And to the young woman you shall do nothing; there is for the young woman no sin of death; for as when a man (ish) rises against his neighbor and murders him — a soul (nephesh) — so is this thing.
27For in the field he found her; the betrothed young woman cried out, and there was none to save her.
28If a man (ish) finds a young woman, a virgin, who is not betrothed, and seizes her and lies with her, and they are found,
29then the man (ish) who lay with her shall give to the father of the young woman fifty of silver, and she shall be to him for a wife (ishah); because he humbled her, he is not able to send her away all his days.
