Isaiah 34

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

Come near, you nations, to hear; and you peoples, attend! Let the earth hear, and its fullness, the world and all its offspring.

For wrath is to YHWH against all the nations, and fury against all their host; he has devoted them to destruction, he has given them to the slaughter.

And their slain shall be cast out, and their carcasses—their stench shall come up; and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

And all the host of the heavens shall dissolve, and the heavens shall be rolled as a scroll; and all their host shall fall, as a leaf falls from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

For my sword has drunk its fill in the heavens; behold, upon Edom it shall come down, and upon the people of my ban, to judgment (mishpat).

A sword to YHWH is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, with the blood of lambs and he-goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams; for a sacrifice is to YHWH in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

And the wild oxen shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the mighty bulls; and their land shall be drenched with blood, and their dust (aphar) made fat with fatness.

For a day of vengeance is to YHWH, a year of recompenses for the controversy of Zion.

And its streams shall be turned to pitch, and its dust (aphar) to brimstone, and its land shall become burning pitch.

Night and day it shall not be quenched; forever its smoke shall go up; from generation to generation it shall lie waste; forever and ever none shall pass through it.

And the pelican and the hedgehog shall possess it, and the owl and the raven shall dwell in it; and he shall stretch over it the line of confusion and the stones of emptiness.

Its nobles—there is none there whom they shall call to a kingdom; and all its princes shall be nothing.

And thorns shall come up in its palaces, nettle and thistle in its fortresses; and it shall be a habitation of jackals (tannin), a court for ostriches.

And the desert beasts shall meet with the howling creatures, and the satyr shall call to his fellow; yea, there the night creature (Lilith) shall repose and find for herself a resting place.

There the arrow-snake shall nest and lay, and hatch, and brood under her shadow; yea, there the kites shall be gathered, each (ishah) with her fellow.

Seek out of the book of YHWH, and read: not one of these is missing, none lacks her fellow; for my mouth—it has commanded (tzivvah), and his spirit (ruach)—it has gathered them.

And he—he has cast the lot for them, and his hand has divided it to them by line; forever they shall possess it, from generation to generation they shall dwell in it.
