1And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying:
2This shall be the Torah of the leper in the day of his cleansing: and he shall be brought to the priest.
3And the priest shall go out to outside the camp; and the priest shall look, and behold, the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper,
4then the priest shall command (tzivvah), and he shall take for the one being cleansed two living (chai) clean birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet of worm, and hyssop.
5And the priest shall command (tzivvah), and he shall slaughter the one bird into an earthen vessel over living (chai) water.
6As for the living (chai) bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet of worm, and the hyssop, and he shall dip them and the living (chai) bird in the blood of the slaughtered bird over the living (chai) water.
7And he shall sprinkle upon the one being cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and he shall pronounce him clean, and he shall send away the living (chai) bird upon the face of the field.
8And the one being cleansed shall wash his garments, and shave off all his hair, and bathe in water, and he shall be clean; and afterward he shall come into the camp, and he shall dwell outside his tent (ohel) seven days.
9And it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair: his head and his beard and the eyebrows of his eyes, even all his hair he shall shave; and he shall wash his garments, and he shall bathe his flesh (basar) in water, and he shall be clean.
10And on the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe-lamb a daughter of her year without blemish, and three tenth-parts of fine flour for a grain offering mingled with oil, and one log of oil.
11And the priest who cleanses shall present the man (ish) who is being cleansed, and them, before YHWH at the entrance of the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed).
12And the priest shall take the one lamb, and bring it near for a guilt offering, and the log of oil, and he shall wave them as a wave offering before YHWH.
13And he shall slaughter the lamb in the place where he slaughters the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place; for as the sin offering, the guilt offering is for the priest: it is holy of holies.
14And the priest shall take of the blood of the guilt offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of the one being cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the big toe of his right foot.
15And the priest shall take of the log of oil, and pour it upon the palm of the priest's left hand.
16And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is upon his left palm, and he shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before YHWH.
17And of the rest of the oil that is upon his palm the priest shall put upon the tip of the right ear of the one being cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the big toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the guilt offering.
18And the remainder of the oil that is upon the priest's palm he shall put upon the head of the one being cleansed; and the priest shall make atonement for him before YHWH.
19And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make atonement for the one being cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall slaughter the burnt offering.
20And the priest shall offer up the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
21And if he is poor, and his hand does not reach, then he shall take one lamb as a guilt offering for waving, to make atonement for him, and one tenth-part of fine flour mingled with oil for a grain offering, and a log of oil;
22and two turtledoves, or two sons of a dove, such as his hand reaches; and one shall be a sin offering, and the one a burnt offering.
23And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing to the priest, to the entrance of the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed), before YHWH.
24And the priest shall take the lamb of the guilt offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before YHWH.
25And he shall slaughter the lamb of the guilt offering, and the priest shall take of the blood of the guilt offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of the one being cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the big toe of his right foot.
26And of the oil the priest shall pour upon the priest's left palm.
27And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger of the oil that is upon his left palm seven times before YHWH.
28And the priest shall put of the oil that is upon his palm upon the tip of the right ear of the one being cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the big toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the guilt offering.
29And the remainder of the oil that is upon the priest's palm he shall put upon the head of the one being cleansed, to make atonement for him before YHWH.
30And he shall offer one of the turtledoves, or of the sons of the dove, of that which his hand reaches;
31that which his hand reaches, the one a sin offering and the one a burnt offering, with the grain offering; and the priest shall make atonement for the one being cleansed before YHWH.
32This is the Torah of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand does not reach in his cleansing.
33And YHWH spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying:
34When you come into the land of Canaan, which I am giving to you for a possession, and I put a plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession,
35then he whose house it is shall come and tell the priest, saying, "Something like a plague has appeared to me in the house."
36And the priest shall command (tzivvah), and they shall clear the house before the priest comes to see the plague, that all that is in the house not be made unclean; and afterward the priest shall come to see the house.
37And he shall look at the plague, and behold, if the plague is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and their appearance is lower than the wall,
38then the priest shall go out of the house to the entrance of the house, and he shall shut up the house seven days.
39And the priest shall return on the seventh day, and he shall look, and behold, if the plague has spread in the walls of the house,
40then the priest shall command (tzivvah), and they shall pull out the stones in which the plague is, and cast them outside the city to an unclean place.
41And he shall scrape the house within round about, and they shall pour out the dust (aphar) that they have scraped off outside the city to an unclean place.
42And they shall take other stones, and bring them in place of the stones; and he shall take other dust (aphar), and plaster the house.
43And if the plague returns and breaks out in the house, after he has pulled out the stones, and after the house has been scraped, and after it has been plastered,
44then the priest shall come and look, and behold, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a malignant leprosy in the house: it is unclean.
45And he shall break down the house, its stones, and its timbers, and all the dust (aphar) of the house; and he shall carry it out outside the city to an unclean place.
46And he who comes into the house all the days it is shut up shall be unclean before(ad עד) the evening.
47And he who lies down in the house shall wash his garments; and he who eats in the house shall wash his garments.
48And if the priest indeed comes and looks, and behold, the plague has not spread in the house after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.
49And he shall take to purify the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet of worm, and hyssop.
50And he shall slaughter the one bird into an earthen vessel over living (chai) water.
51And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet of worm, and the living (chai) bird, and he shall dip them in the blood of the slaughtered bird and in the living (chai) water, and he shall sprinkle the house seven times.
52And he shall purify the house with the blood of the bird, and with the living (chai) water, and with the living (chai) bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet of worm.
53And he shall send away the living (chai) bird outside the city upon the face of the field; and he shall make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean.
54This is the Torah for every plague of leprosy, and for the scall,
55and for the leprosy of a garment, and for a house,
56and for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot,
57to teach in the day of the unclean and in the day of the clean: this is the Torah of leprosy.
