Leviticus 24

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying:

Command (tzivvah) the sons of Israel, that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, to cause a lamp to go up continually.

Outside the veil of the testimony (edut), in the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed), Aaron shall arrange it from evening to morning before YHWH continually; an everlasting statute (chuqqah) throughout your generations.

Upon the pure lampstand he shall arrange the lamps before YHWH continually.

And you shall take fine flour and bake it, twelve cakes; two tenths shall be in the one cake.

And you shall set them in two rows, six to the row, upon the pure table before YHWH.

And you shall put upon the row pure frankincense, and it shall be for the bread a memorial, a fire-offering to YHWH.

On the Shabbat day, on the Shabbat day, he shall arrange it before YHWH continually; from the sons of Israel, an everlasting covenant (berit).

And it shall be for Aaron and for his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy to him of the fire-offerings of YHWH, an everlasting statute (choq).

And the son of an Israelite woman (ishah) went out, and he was the son of an Egyptian man (ish), in the midst of the sons of Israel; and the son of the Israelite woman and a man (ish) of Israel strove together in the camp.

And the son of the Israelite woman (ishah) blasphemed the Name and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. And his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

And they put him in custody, to declare to them at the mouth of YHWH.

And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying:

Bring out the one who cursed to outside the camp, and let all who heard lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

And to the sons of Israel you shall speak, saying: Any man (ish), when he curses his God, shall bear his sin.

And he who blasphemes the name of YHWH shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall surely stone him; as the stranger, so the native, when he blasphemes the Name, he shall be put to death.

And a man (ish), when he strikes any soul (nephesh) of man (adam), shall surely be put to death.

And he who strikes the soul (nephesh) of a beast shall make it good: soul (nephesh) for soul (nephesh).

And a man (ish), when he gives a blemish in his neighbor, as he has done, so shall it be done to him:

breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he gives a blemish in the man (adam), so shall it be given in him.

And he who strikes a beast shall make it good; and he who strikes a man (adam) shall be put to death.

One judgment (mishpat) shall be for you; as the stranger, so the native it shall be; for I am YHWH your God.

And Moses spoke to the sons of Israel, and they brought out the one who cursed to outside the camp, and stoned him with a stone. And the sons of Israel did as YHWH commanded (tzivvah) Moses.
