Malachi 3

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

Behold, I send my messenger, and he shall clear the way before me; and suddenly shall come to his temple the Lord (ha-Adon) whom you seek, and the messenger of the covenant (berit) whom you delight in, behold, he comes, says YHWH of hosts (tzevaot).

And who can endure the day of his coming? and who can stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap.

And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and as silver; and they shall be to YHWH those who offer an offering in righteousness.

And the offering of Judah and Jerusalem shall be pleasant to YHWH, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

And I will come near to you for judgment (mishpat); and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against those who swear falsely, and against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow and the orphan, and those who turn aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says YHWH of hosts (tzevaot).

For I YHWH do not change; and you, sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from my statutes (chuqqim), and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you, says YHWH of hosts (tzevaot). But you say, "In what shall we return?"

Will a man (adam) rob God? Yet you rob me. And you say, "In what have we robbed you?" In the tithe and the heave-offering.

You are cursed with the curse, yet you rob me, the whole nation.

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this, says YHWH of hosts (tzevaot), if I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour out for you a blessing until there is no more sufficiency.

And I will rebuke the devourer for you, and it shall not destroy for you the fruit of the ground (adamah), and the vine shall not cast its fruit for you in the field, says YHWH of hosts (tzevaot).

And all the nations shall call you blessed, for you shall be a land of delight, says YHWH of hosts (tzevaot).

Your words have been strong against me, says YHWH. And you say, "What have we spoken against you?"

You have said, "It is vain to serve (avad) God; and what profit that we have kept his charge (mishmeret), and that we have walked mournfully before YHWH of hosts (tzevaot)?"

And now we call the proud blessed; yea, those who work wickedness are built up; yea, they test God, and they are delivered.

Then those who fear YHWH spoke, a man (ish) with his neighbor; and YHWH listened and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before him for those who fear YHWH and who esteem his name.

And they shall be mine, says YHWH of hosts (tzevaot), in the day that I make a treasured possession; and I will spare them as a man (ish) spares his son who serves (avad) him.

And you shall return and see between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves (avad) God and him who does not serve (avad) him.

For behold, the day comes, burning like the furnace; and all the proud and all who do wickedness shall be stubble; and the day that comes shall set them ablaze, says YHWH of hosts (tzevaot), which shall leave them neither root nor branch.

And for you who fear my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings; and you shall go forth and leap like calves of the stall.

And you shall tread down the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet, in the day that I make, says YHWH of hosts (tzevaot).

Remember the Torah of Moses my servant, whom I commanded (tzivvah) at Horeb concerning all Israel, statutes (chuqqim) and judgments (mishpatim).

Behold, I send to you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the day of YHWH, the great and the dreadful.

And he shall turn the heart of fathers to children, and the heart of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with utter destruction.
