Micah 3

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

And I said: Hear, I pray, O heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: Is it not for you to know the judgment (mishpat)?

Haters of good and lovers of evil; who tear their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;

And who eat the flesh of my people, and strip their skin from off them, and break their bones; and they spread them out as in the pot, and like flesh (basar) in the midst of the caldron.

Then they shall cry to YHWH, but he will not answer them; and he will hide his face from them at that time, just as they made their doings evil.

Thus says YHWH concerning the prophets who lead my people astray, who bite with their teeth and cry "Peace," and against him who does not put into their mouths they consecrate war.

Therefore it shall be night for you, without vision, and darkness for you, without divination; and the sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall be black over them.

And the seers shall be ashamed, and the diviners confounded; and they shall all cover their mustache; for there is no answer of God.

But as for me, I am filled with power, with the spirit (ruach) of YHWH, and with judgment (mishpat), and with might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

Hear this, I pray, O heads of the house of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel, who abhor judgment (mishpat) and pervert all that is straight.

Building Zion with bloodshed, and Jerusalem with iniquity.

Her heads judge for a bribe, and her priests teach for hire, and her prophets divine for money; yet they lean upon YHWH, saying, "Is not YHWH in our midst? Evil shall not come upon us."

Therefore because of you, Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as high places of a forest.
