Numbers 6

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying:

"Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them: A man (ish) or woman (ishah), when he makes a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to consecrate himself to YHWH,

from wine and strong drink he shall separate himself; vinegar of wine and vinegar of strong drink he shall not drink, and any liquor of grapes he shall not drink, and grapes fresh or dried he shall not eat.

All the days of his consecration he shall not eat anything that is made from the grapevine, from the seeds even to the skin.

All the days of the vow of his consecration a razor shall not pass over his head; until the days are fulfilled in which he consecrates himself to YHWH, he shall be holy, letting the locks of the hair of his head grow long.

All the days of his consecrating himself to YHWH he shall not come near a dead soul (nephesh).

For his father or for his mother, for his brother or for his sister, he shall not make himself unclean for them at their death, because the consecration of his God is on his head.

All the days of his consecration he is holy to YHWH.

And if anyone dies beside him very suddenly, and he defiles his consecrated head, then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shall shave it.

And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two young of a dove to the priest, to the opening of the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed).

And the priest shall make one for a sin-offering and one for a burnt-offering, and make atonement for him, because he sinned regarding the soul (nephesh); and he shall consecrate his head on that day.

And he shall consecrate to YHWH the days of his consecration, and bring a lamb a son of its year for a guilt-offering; but the former days shall fall away, because his consecration was defiled.

And this is the Torah of the Nazirite: in the day the days of his consecration are fulfilled, he shall bring him to the opening of the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed).

And he shall bring near his offering to YHWH: one male lamb a son of its year, without blemish, for a burnt-offering, and one ewe-lamb a daughter of its year, without blemish, for a sin-offering, and one ram without blemish for peace-offerings,

and a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, and their meal-offering and their drink-offerings.

And the priest shall bring them near before YHWH, and make his sin-offering and his burnt-offering.

And the ram he shall make a sacrifice of peace-offerings to YHWH, with the basket of unleavened bread; and the priest shall make its meal-offering and its drink-offering.

And the Nazirite shall shave at the opening of the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed) his consecrated head, and take the hair of his consecrated head and put it on the fire that is under the sacrifice of the peace-offerings.

And the priest shall take the boiled shoulder from the ram, and one unleavened cake from the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and put them on the palms of the Nazirite after he has shaved his consecration.

And the priest shall wave them, a wave-offering before YHWH; it is holy for the priest, with the breast of the wave-offering and the thigh of the heave-offering; and afterward the Nazirite may drink wine.

This is the Torah of the Nazirite who vows, his offering to YHWH for his consecration, besides what his hand attains; according to his vow which he vows, so he shall do upon the Torah of his consecration."

And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying:

"Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying: Thus you shall bless the sons of Israel; say to them:

YHWH bless you and keep you;

YHWH make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you;

YHWH lift up His face toward you and give you peace."

And they shall put My name upon the sons of Israel, and I will bless them.
