Numbers 9

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

And YHWH spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the second year of their going out from the land of Egypt, in the first month, saying:

"And let the children of Israel make the Passover in its appointed time (moed).

On the fourteenth day in this month, between the evenings, you shall make it in its appointed time (moed); according to all its statutes (chuqqot) and according to all its judgments (mishpat) you shall make it."

And Moses spoke to the children of Israel to make the Passover.

And they made the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that YHWH commanded (tzivvah) Moses, so the children of Israel did.

And there were men (ish) who were unclean by the soul (nephesh) of a man (adam), so that they could not make the Passover on that day; and they came near before Moses and before Aaron on that day.

And those men (ish) said to him: "We are unclean by the soul (nephesh) of a man (adam); why should we be kept back so as not to bring near the offering of YHWH in its appointed time (moed) among the children of Israel?"

And Moses said to them: "Stand, and let me hear what YHWH will command (tzivvah) concerning you."

And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying:

"Speak to the children of Israel, saying: Any man (ish), any man (ish) of you or of your generations who shall be unclean by a soul (nephesh) or on a journey afar off, yet he shall make a Passover to YHWH.

In the second month, on the fourteenth day, between the evenings, they shall make it; with unleavened bread and bitter herbs they shall eat it.

They shall not leave any of it until the morning, nor break a bone in it; according to all the statute (chuqqah) of the Passover they shall make it.

But the man (ish) who is clean and is not on a journey, and forbears to make the Passover, that soul (nephesh) shall be cut off from his peoples; because he did not bring near the offering of YHWH in its appointed time (moed), that man (ish) shall bear his sin.

And if a sojourner sojourns with you and will make a Passover to YHWH, according to the statute (chuqqah) of the Passover and according to its judgment (mishpat), so shall he do; one statute (chuqqah) shall be for you, both for the sojourner and for the native of the land."

And on the day that the tabernacle (mishkan) was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle (mishkan), the tent (ohel) of the testimony (edut); and in the evening there was upon the tabernacle (mishkan) as the appearance of fire, until morning.

So it was continually: the cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night.

And whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tent (ohel), then after that the children of Israel journeyed; and in the place where the cloud settled, there the children of Israel encamped.

At the mouth of YHWH the children of Israel journeyed, and at the mouth of YHWH they encamped; all the days that the cloud abode upon the tabernacle (mishkan) they remained encamped.

And when the cloud prolonged upon the tabernacle (mishkan) many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge (mishmeret) of YHWH and did not journey.

And there were times when the cloud was a number of days upon the tabernacle (mishkan); at the mouth of YHWH they encamped, and at the mouth of YHWH they journeyed.

And there were times when the cloud was from evening until morning, and the cloud was taken up in the morning, and they journeyed; or by day and night, and the cloud was taken up, and they journeyed.

Whether two days, or a month, or days, when the cloud prolonged upon the tabernacle (mishkan), abiding upon it, the children of Israel remained encamped and did not journey; but when it was taken up they journeyed.

At the mouth of YHWH they encamped, and at the mouth of YHWH they journeyed; the charge (mishmeret) of YHWH they kept, at the mouth of YHWH by the hand of Moses.
