Psalms 21

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

For the chief musician. A psalm of David.

YHWH, in your strength the king rejoices, and in your salvation (yeshuah) how greatly he exults!

The desire of his heart you have given to him, and the request of his lips you have not withheld. Selah.

For you meet him with blessings of good; you set on his head a crown of fine gold.

Life (chai) he asked from you; you gave to him length of days forever and ever.

Great is his glory in your salvation (yeshuah); honor and majesty you lay upon him.

For you make him blessings forever; you gladden him with joy by your presence.

For the king trusts in YHWH, and through the lovingkindness of the Most High (Elyon) he will not be moved.

Your hand will find out all your enemies; your right hand will find those who hate you.

You will make them like a furnace of fire at the time of your presence; YHWH in his anger will swallow them, and fire will devour them.

Their fruit you will destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the sons of man (adam).

For they stretched out evil against you; they devised a plot, but they will not prevail.

For you will make them turn the shoulder; with your bowstrings you will aim against their faces.

Be exalted, YHWH, in your strength; we will sing and make music of your might.
