Psalms 60

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

To the leader; upon Shushan Eduth; a Michtam of David, to teach,

when he strove with Aram-naharaim and with Aram-zobah, and Joab returned and struck Edom in the Valley of Salt — twelve thousand.

God, you have cast us off, you have broken us down; you have been angry; restore us!

You have made the land quake, you have split it; heal its breaches, for it totters.

You have made your people see hard things; you have given us to drink the wine of staggering.

You have given to those who fear you a banner, to be raised up because of the truth. Selah.

That your beloved ones may be delivered, save (yasha) with your right hand, and answer me.

God has spoken in his holiness: I will exult; I will divide Shechem, and the valley of Succoth I will measure out.

Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; and Ephraim is the stronghold of my head; Judah is my scepter.

Moab is my washing pot; over Edom I cast my sandal; over me, O Philistia, raise the shout!

Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?

Is it not you, God, who have cast us off? And you do not go forth, God, with our hosts.

Give us help against the adversary, for vain is the deliverance of man (adam).

In God we will do valiantly, and he it is who will tread down our adversaries.
