In you, O YHWH, I have taken refuge; let me never be ashamed.
In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline to me your ear and save me.
Be to me a rock of dwelling, to which to come continually; you have commanded (tzivvah) to save me, for you are my crag and my fortress.
O my God, rescue me from the hand of the wicked, from the palm of the unrighteous and the ruthless.
For you are my hope, my Lord (Adonai) YHWH, my trust from my youth.
On you I have leaned from the womb; from my mother's bowels you are the one who took me out; of you is my praise continually.
As a wonder (mofet) I have been to many, but you are my refuge of strength.
Let my mouth be filled with your praise, all the day with your glory.
Do not cast me off at the time of old age; when my strength fails, do not forsake me.
For my enemies speak about me, and those who watch for my soul (nephesh) take counsel together,
saying, "God has forsaken him; pursue and seize him, for there is none to deliver."
O God, do not be far from me; O my God, to my help make haste!
Let them be ashamed, let them be consumed, the adversaries of my soul (nephesh); let them be wrapped in reproach and disgrace, those who seek my harm.
But I will continually hope, and I will add to all your praise.
My mouth will recount your righteousness, all the day your salvation, for I do not know the numberings.
I will come with the mighty deeds of my Lord (Adonai) YHWH; I will mention your righteousness, yours alone.
O God, you have taught me from my youth, and until now I declare your wonders.
And even to old age and gray hair, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare your arm to a generation, to all who come, your might.
And your righteousness, O God, reaches to the height; you who have done great things, O God, who is like you?
You who have made me see many and evil troubles, you will return, you will revive me; and from the depths of the earth you will return, you will bring me up.
You will increase my greatness, and you will turn and comfort me.
I too will praise you with the instrument of the lute, your truth, O my God; I will sing to you with the harp, O Holy One of Israel.
My lips will sing for joy when I sing to you, and my soul (nephesh), which you have redeemed.
My tongue too, all the day, will utter your righteousness; for they are ashamed, for they are abashed, those who seek my harm.
