Psalms 80

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

To the leader; upon Shoshannim. A testimony (edut). Of Asaph, a Psalm.

Shepherd of Israel, give ear, leading Joseph like a flock; you who sit enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth.

Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up your might, and come for our salvation (yeshuah).

God, restore us, and cause your face to shine, and we shall be saved.

YHWH God of hosts (tzevaot), until when will you smoke against the prayer of your people?

You have fed them with the bread of tears, and made them drink tears in threefold measure.

You make us a strife to our neighbors, and our enemies mock among themselves.

God of hosts (tzevaot), restore us, and cause your face to shine, and we shall be saved.

A vine out of Egypt you brought; you drove out nations, and you planted it.

You cleared before it, and it took root its roots, and filled the land.

Mountains were covered with its shadow, and its boughs the cedars of God.

It sent out its branches to the sea, and to the River its shoots.

Why have you broken down its fences, so that all who pass by the way pluck it?

The boar from the forest ravages it, and what moves in the field feeds on it.

God of hosts (tzevaot), return, please; look down from the heavens and see, and attend to this vine,

and the stock which your right hand planted, and upon the son you made strong for yourself.

It is burned with fire, it is cut down; at the rebuke of your face they perish.

Let your hand be upon the man (ish) of your right hand, upon the son of man (adam) whom you made strong for yourself.

And we will not turn back from you; revive us, and we will call upon your name.

YHWH God of hosts (tzevaot), restore us; cause your face to shine, and we shall be saved.
