Paul, a slave of Yeshua(Jesus) Messiah(Christ), called as an apostle, set apart for the good news of God —
which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the holy graphe(written-scriptures) —
concerning His Son, who came from the seed of David according to the sarx(flesh),
who was designated Son of God in dynamis(power) according to the pneuma(spirit) of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead — Yeshua(Jesus) Messiah(Christ) our Lord,
through whom we received charis(grace) and apostleship for the obedience of faith among all the nations for the sake of His name,
among whom you also are called ones of Yeshua(Jesus) Messiah(Christ) —
to all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called holy ones: charis(grace) to you and eirene(peace) from God our Father and the Lord Yeshua(Jesus) Messiah(Christ).
First, I give thanks to my God through Yeshua(Jesus) Messiah(Christ) for all of you, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world.
For God is my witness — whom I serve in my pneuma(spirit) in the good news of His Son — how unceasingly I make mention of you,
always in my prayers asking if somehow now at last I may succeed, by the thelema(will) of God, in coming to you.
For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some pneumatikon(spiritual) charisma(grace-gift) so that you may be strengthened,
and that is, to be mutually encouraged among you through the faith that is in one another — both yours and mine.
I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I have often purposed to come to you — and have been hindered until now — so that I might have some fruit among you as well, just as among the rest of the nations.
I am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.
So, as far as it depends on me, I am eager to proclaim the good news to you also who are in Rome.
For I am not ashamed of the good news of Messiah(Christ), for it is the dynamis(power) of God for Salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
For the dikaiosyne(righteousness) of God is revealed in it, from faith to faith, as it is written: "But the righteous one will live by faith."
For the orge(wrath) of God is revealed from heaven against all godlessness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the aletheia(truth) in unrighteousness,
because what is knowable of God is evident among them, for God has made it evident to them.
For His invisible attributes — both His eternal dynamis(power) and theiotes(divine-nature) — have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through the things made, so that they are without excuse.
Because, having known God, they did not glorify Him as God or give thanks, but became futile in their dialogismos(reasoning, deliberation) and their senseless kardia(heart, soul-domain) was darkened.
Claiming to be wise, they became fools,
and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image resembling corruptible humanity and birds and four-footed animals and reptiles.
Therefore God also gave them over, in the epithymia(lust, desire, strong craving)s of their kardia(heart, soul-domain)s, to impurity, so that their bodies might be dishonored among themselves —
they who exchanged the aletheia(truth) of God for the lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Because of this God gave them over to dishonorable passions; for their women exchanged the natural use for that which is contrary to nature,
and likewise the men also, having left the natural use of the woman, burned in their desire toward one another — men committing shameless acts with men — and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.
And just as they did not edokimasan(approve) of having God in epignosis(spiritual, complete knowledge), God gave them over to an adokimon(unapproved) nous(intellect, spiritual domain) to do the things that are improper,
filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, greed, malice — full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness — gossips,
slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,
without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful —
who, epiginosko(knowing-without-misjudgment) the dikaioma(ordinance) of God — that those who practice such things are worthy of death — not only do them but also approve of those who practice them.
