1Now receive the one who is weak in faith — not for diakrisis(discernment) of dialogismoi(reasoning, deliberations).
2One person believes he may eat all things, but the one who is weak eats only vegetables.
3The one who eats must not despise the one who does not eat, and the one who does not eat must not krino(judge) the one who eats, for God has received him.
4Who are you who krino(judges) another's household servant? To his own master he stands or falls — and he will stand, for God is able to make him stand.
5One person krino(judges) one day above another; another krino(judges) every day alike — let each one be fully convinced in his own nous(intellect, spiritual domain).
6The one who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and the one who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it; and the one who eats, eats to the Lord — for he gives thanks to God; and the one who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and he gives thanks to God.
7For none of us lives to himself and none dies to himself.
8For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord; whether then we live or die, we are the Lord's.
9For to this end Messiah(Christ) both died and rose and lived again — that He might be Lord over both the dead and the living.
10But you — why do you krino(judge) your brother? Or you also — why do you despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Messiah(Christ).
11For it is written: "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God."
12So then each of us will give account concerning himself to God.
13Therefore let us no longer krino(judge) one another, but rather determine this — not to put a skandalon(stumbling-block) or obstacle in a brother's way.
14I know and am persuaded in the Lord Yeshua(Jesus) that nothing is koinos(common, worldly) in itself, except to the one who considers anything to be koinos(common, worldly) — to that person it is koinos(common, worldly).
15For if your brother is grieved because of food, you are no longer walking according to agape(love) — do not by your food destroy that one for whom Messiah(Christ) died.
16Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil.
17For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking but dikaiosyne(righteousness) and eirene(peace) and joy in the hagio(holy) pneuma(spirit).
18For the one who serves Messiah(Christ) in this way is well-pleasing to God and dokimos(approved, verified) by people.
19So then let us pursue the things of eirene(peace) and the things of building up one another.
20Do not for the sake of food tear down the work of God; all things are clean, but evil comes to the person who eats while causing stumbling.
21It is good not to eat meat nor to drink wine nor to do anything by which your brother skandalizo(stumbles) or is made to fall or is weakened.
22The faith you have — keep it to yourself before God; blessed is the one who does not krino(judge) himself in what he approves.
23But the one who diakrino(middle, passive: doubts, wavers) is katakrino(condemned) if he eats, because it is not from faith; and everything that is not from faith is sin.
24Now to the One who is able to establish you according to my good news and the proclamation of Yeshua(Jesus) Messiah(Christ), according to the revelation of the mysterion(mystery) that was kept silent for ages past —
25but has now been manifested, through the prophetic graphai(written-scriptures), according to the command of the eternal God, made known to all the nations for the obedience of faith —
26to the only wise God, through Yeshua(Jesus) Messiah(Christ), to whom be the glory forever. Amen.
