Exodus 40

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying:

On the day of the first month, on the first of the month, you shall raise up the tabernacle (mishkan) of the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed).

And you shall put there the ark of the testimony (edut), and you shall cover over the ark with the veil.

And you shall bring in the table, and arrange its arrangement; and you shall bring in the lampstand, and light up its lamps.

And you shall set the altar of gold for incense before the ark of the testimony (edut), and you shall put the screen of the entrance to the tabernacle (mishkan).

And you shall set the altar of the burnt offering before the entrance of the tabernacle (mishkan) of the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed).

And you shall set the laver between the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed) and the altar, and you shall put there water.

And you shall set up the court round about, and you shall put the screen of the gate of the court.

And you shall take the oil of anointing, and anoint the tabernacle (mishkan) and all that is in it; and you shall sanctify it and all its vessels, and it shall be holy.

And you shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all its vessels; and you shall sanctify the altar, and the altar shall be most holy.

And you shall anoint the laver and its base, and you shall sanctify it.

And you shall bring near Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed), and you shall wash them with water.

And you shall clothe Aaron with the holy garments, and you shall anoint him and sanctify him, that he may serve me as priest.

And his sons you shall bring near, and you shall clothe them with tunics.

And you shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may serve me as priests; and it shall be that their anointing shall become to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

And Moses did according to all that YHWH commanded (tzivvah) him, so he did.

And it came to pass in the first month, in the second year, on the first of the month, that the tabernacle (mishkan) was raised up.

And Moses raised up the tabernacle (mishkan), and laid its sockets, and set its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its pillars.

And he spread the tent (ohel) over the tabernacle (mishkan), and put the covering of the tent (ohel) over it from above, as YHWH commanded (tzivvah) Moses.

And he took and put the testimony (edut) into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the ark-cover on the ark from above.

And he brought the ark into the tabernacle (mishkan), and set up the veil of the screen, and covered over the ark of the testimony (edut), as YHWH commanded (tzivvah) Moses.

And he put the table in the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed), on the side of the tabernacle (mishkan) northward, outside the veil.

And he arranged upon it an arrangement of bread before YHWH, as YHWH commanded (tzivvah) Moses.

And he put the lampstand in the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed), opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle (mishkan) southward.

And he lit up the lamps before YHWH, as YHWH commanded (tzivvah) Moses.

And he put the altar of gold in the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed), before the veil.

And he burned upon it incense of spices, as YHWH commanded (tzivvah) Moses.

And he put the screen of the entrance to the tabernacle (mishkan).

And the altar of the burnt offering he set at the entrance of the tabernacle (mishkan) of the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed), and offered up upon it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as YHWH commanded (tzivvah) Moses.

And he set the laver between the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed) and the altar, and put there water to wash.

And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed from it their hands and their feet.

When they came into the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed), and when they drew near to the altar, they washed, as YHWH commanded (tzivvah) Moses.

And he raised up the court round about the tabernacle (mishkan) and the altar, and put up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.

And the cloud covered the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed), and the glory of YHWH filled the tabernacle (mishkan).

And Moses was not able to enter into the tent (ohel) of appointed time (moed), because the cloud abode upon it, and the glory of YHWH filled the tabernacle (mishkan).

And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle (mishkan), the sons of Israel journeyed onward in all their journeys.

But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not journey ad(עד) the day that it was taken up.

For the cloud of YHWH was upon the tabernacle (mishkan) by day, and fire was in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Israel, in all their journeys.
