Ezekiel 4

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

And you, son of man (adam), take for yourself a brick, and set it before you, and engrave upon it a city, Jerusalem.

And lay against it a siege, and build against it a siege-wall, and pour out against it a mound, and set against it camps, and place against it battering rams round about.

And you, take for yourself an iron griddle, and set it as a wall of iron between you and the city; and set your face against it, and it shall be in the siege, and you shall lay siege against it. This is a sign (ot) to the house of Israel.

And you, lie upon your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it; the number of days that you lie upon it, you shall bear their iniquity.

And I have given to you the years of their iniquity as a number of days, three hundred and ninety days; and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

And you shall complete these, and you shall lie upon your right side a second time, and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days; a day for a year, a day for a year, I have given it to you.

And to the siege of Jerusalem you shall set your face, with your arm bared, and you shall prophesy against it.

And behold, I have put cords upon you, and you shall not turn from one side to your other side, until you have completed the days of your siege.

And you, take for yourself wheat and barley and beans and lentils and millet and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make them for yourself into bread; the number of days that you lie upon your side, three hundred and ninety days, you shall eat it.

And your food that you eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time to time you shall eat it.

And water by measure you shall drink, a sixth of a hin; from time to time you shall drink.

And as a barley-cake you shall eat it; and it—with dung of the excrement of man (adam) you shall bake it before their eyes.

And YHWH said, "Thus shall the sons of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them."

And I said, "Ah, my Lord (Adonai) YHWH! Behold, my soul (nephesh) has not been defiled; and a carcass, or what is torn, I have not eaten from my youth even until now, and foul flesh (basar) has not come into my mouth."

And he said to me, "See, I have given you cow's dung instead of man's (adam) dung, and you shall make your bread upon it."

And he said to me, "Son of man (adam), behold, I am breaking the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they shall eat bread by weight and in anxiety, and water by measure and in horror they shall drink;

so that they may lack bread and water, and a man (ish) and his brother be appalled, and they pine away in their iniquity.
