Isaiah 53

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

Who has believed our report? And the arm of YHWH, to whom has it been revealed?

For he grew up like a tender shoot before him, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form nor splendor that we should look at him, and no appearance that we should desire him.

Despised and forsaken of men (ish), a man (ish) of pains and acquainted with sickness; and like one from whom men hide their face, despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely our sicknesses he has borne, and our pains he has carried; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and by his stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned each one (ish) to his own way; and YHWH has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb led to the slaughter, and like a ewe before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.

From oppression and from judgment (mishpat) he was taken away, and as for his generation, who considered? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people the stroke was upon him.

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in his death; though he had done no violence, neither was deceit in his mouth.

Yet YHWH was pleased to crush him, he made him sick; when his soul (nephesh) makes a guilt offering, he shall see seed, he shall prolong days, and the pleasure of YHWH shall prosper in his hand.

After the toil of his soul (nephesh) he shall see light and be satisfied; by his knowledge (daat) my righteous servant shall make many righteous, and he himself shall bear their iniquities.

Therefore I will divide him a portion among the many, and with the mighty he shall divide spoil; because he poured out his soul (nephesh) to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and for the transgressors he made intercession.
