And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying:
Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: A man (ish), when he makes a special vow, by your valuation of souls (nephesh) to YHWH;
then your valuation shall be, for the male from twenty years old even to sixty years old, your valuation shall be fifty shekels of silver, by the shekel of the sanctuary.
And if it be a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels.
And if from five years old even to twenty years old, then your valuation shall be, for the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
And if from a month old even to five years old, then your valuation shall be, for the male five shekels of silver, and for the female your valuation three shekels of silver.
And if from sixty years old and upward: if a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
And if he is poorer than your valuation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to the mouth of what the hand of him who vowed can reach, the priest shall value him.
And if it be a beast of which they bring an offering to YHWH, all that he gives of it to YHWH shall be holy.
He shall not exchange it, and shall not change it, good for bad or bad for good; and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and its exchange shall be holy.
And if it be any unclean beast of which they do not bring an offering to YHWH, then he shall present the beast before the priest.
And the priest shall value it, whether good or bad; according to your valuation, O priest, so shall it be.
But if he will indeed redeem it, then he shall add its fifth upon your valuation.
And when a man (ish) sanctifies his house holy to YHWH, then the priest shall value it, whether good or bad; as the priest values it, so shall it stand.
And if the one sanctifying will redeem his house, then he shall add a fifth of the silver of your valuation upon it, and it shall be his.
And if a man (ish) sanctifies to YHWH part of the field of his possession, then your valuation shall be according to its seed: the seed of a homer of barley at fifty shekels of silver.
If from the year of the jubilee he sanctifies his field, according to your valuation it shall stand.
And if after the jubilee he sanctifies his field, then the priest shall reckon for him the silver according to the years that remain until the year of the jubilee, and it shall be subtracted from your valuation.
And if the one sanctifying the field will indeed redeem it, then he shall add a fifth of the silver of your valuation upon it, and it shall be confirmed to him.
And if he will not redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man (ish), it shall not be redeemed any more.
And the field, when it goes out in the jubilee, shall be holy to YHWH, as a field devoted; to the priest shall its possession be.
And if he sanctifies to YHWH a field of his purchase, which is not of the field of his possession;
then the priest shall reckon for him the amount of your valuation up to the year of the jubilee, and he shall give your valuation in that day, holy to YHWH.
In the year of the jubilee the field shall return to the one from whom he bought it, to the one to whom belongs the possession of the land.
And all your valuation shall be by the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall the shekel be.
But the firstborn among beasts, which is born first to YHWH, no man (ish) shall sanctify it; whether ox or lamb, it is YHWH's.
And if of an unclean beast, then he shall ransom it by your valuation, and add its fifth upon it; and if it is not redeemed, then it shall be sold by your valuation.
But no devoted thing which a man (ish) devotes to YHWH of all that he has, whether of man (adam) or beast, or of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed; every devoted thing is most holy to YHWH.
No one devoted, who is devoted from among men (adam), shall be ransomed; he shall surely be put to death.
And all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land, of the fruit of the tree, is YHWH's; it is holy to YHWH.
And if a man (ish) will indeed redeem any of his tithe, he shall add its fifth upon it.
And all the tithe of the herd or the flock, all that passes under the rod, the tenth shall be holy to YHWH.
He shall not inquire whether good or bad, and shall not change it; and if he changes it at all, then it and its exchange shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.
These are the commandments (mitzvah) which YHWH commanded (tzivvah) Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
