And summoning His twelve disciples, He gave them exousia(authority) over akathartos(unclean) pneuma(spirits) to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness.
Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus called Thaddaeus;
Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, the one who also betrayed Him.
These twelve Yeshua(Jesus) sent out, having instructed them, saying: "Do not go to the road of the ethne(ethnic-groups, Gentiles) and do not enter a city of the Samaritans;
but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
And as you go, proclaim, saying: 'The kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.'
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, cast out demon(individual evil spirits to be expelled)s — you received dorean(freely), give dorean(freely).
Do not acquire gold or silver or copper for your belts,
no bag for the road, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor a staff — for the worker is worthy of his food.
And into whatever city or village you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there until you leave.
And as you enter the house, greet it.
If the house is worthy, let your eirene(peace) come upon it; but if it is not worthy, let your eirene(peace) return to you.
And whoever does not receive you or listen to your logos(words), as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.
Truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of krisis(judgment) than for that city.
Behold, I am sending you as sheep in the midst of wolves — therefore be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.
And be on guard against people, for they will hand you over to councils and scourge you in their synagogues,
and you will be brought before governors and kings for My sake as a testimony to them and to the ethne(ethnic-groups, Gentiles).
But when they hand you over, do not be anxious about how or what you will say, for it will be given to you in that hora(that-hour) what you will say;
for it is not you who speak, but the pneuma(spirit) of your Father who speaks in you.
And brother will hand over brother to death, and a father his child, and children will rise up against parents and put them to death.
And you will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end — he will be saved.
And when they persecute you in this city, flee to the next, for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.
A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his master.
It is enough for the disciple that he become like his teacher, and the slave like his master — if they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more the members of his household!
Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim on the housetops.
And do not fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the psyche(soul); but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both psyche(soul) and body in Gehenna(valley of Hinnom, place of fiery judgment).
Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion(small coin)? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.
But even the hairs of your head are all counted.
So do not fear — you are worth more than many sparrows.
Therefore everyone who confesses Me before people, I will also confess him before My Father who is in the heavens.
But whoever denies Me before people, I will also deny him before My Father who is in the heavens.
Do not think that I came to bring eirene(peace) on the earth — I did not come to bring eirene(peace) but a sword.
For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
and a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.
The one who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me, and the one who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
And whoever does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
The one who has found his psyche(soul) will lose it, and the one who has lost his psyche(soul) for My sake will find it.
The one who receives you receives Me, and the one who receives Me receives the One who sent Me.
The one who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and the one who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward.
And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple — truly I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward."
