And getting into a boat He crossed over and came to His own city.
And behold, they were bringing to Him a paralyzed man lying on a mat; and Yeshua(Jesus) seeing their faith said to the paralyzed man: "Take courage, child — your sins are forgiven."
And behold, some of the scribes said among themselves: "This man blasphemes."
And Yeshua(Jesus) knowing their enthumesis(intentions, thoughts) said: "Why are you thinking evil things in your kardia(hearts, soul-domain)?
For which is easier — to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?
But so that you may know that the Son of Man has exousia(authority) on earth to forgive sins" — then He said to the paralyzed man: "Get up, pick up your mat and go to your house."
And he got up and went to his house.
When the crowds saw this, they were filled with awe and glorified God, who had given such exousia(authority) to people.
And as Yeshua(Jesus) went on from there, He saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax collector's booth, and He said to him: "Follow Me!" And he got up and followed Him.
And it came about that as He was reclining at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and were dining with Yeshua(Jesus) and His disciples.
And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples: "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
But Yeshua(Jesus) hearing this said: "Those who are well do not need a physician, but those who are sick.
But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice' — for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to metanoia(repentance, spiritual domain)."
Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying: "Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but Your disciples do not fast?"
And Yeshua(Jesus) said to them: "Can the sons of the wedding hall mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.
And no one puts a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for its fullness pulls away from the garment and a worse tear results.
Nor do people put new wine into old wineskins, otherwise the wineskins burst and the wine spills out and the wineskins are destroyed; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins and both are preserved."
While He was saying these things to them, behold, a ruler came and was worshiping Him, saying: "My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live."
And Yeshua(Jesus) got up and followed him, along with His disciples.
And behold, a woman who had been suffering from a hemorrhage for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment,
for she was saying to herself: "If I only touch His garment, I will be saved."
But Yeshua(Jesus) turned and seeing her said: "Take courage, daughter — your faith has saved you" — and the woman was saved from that hora(that-hour).
And when Yeshua(Jesus) came into the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the crowd making a commotion,
He said: "Leave, for the girl has not died but is sleeping" — and they began laughing at Him.
But when the crowd had been put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl got up.
And this report spread throughout all that land.
As Yeshua(Jesus) went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying: "Have mercy on us, Son of David!"
When He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him, and Yeshua(Jesus) said to them: "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him: "Yes, Lord."
Then He touched their eyes, saying: "According to your faith let it be done to you."
And their eyes were opened, and Yeshua(Jesus) sternly warned them, saying: "See that no one knows about this."
But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout all that land.
And as they were going out, behold, they brought to Him a mute demon(individual evil spirit to be expelled)-possessed man.
And after the demon(individual evil spirit to be expelled) was cast out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds marveled, saying: "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel."
But the Pharisees were saying: "By the ruler of the demon(individual evil spirits to be expelled)s He casts out demon(individual evil spirits to be expelled)s."
And Yeshua(Jesus) was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and every sickness.
And seeing the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and scattered like sheep without a shepherd.
Then He said to His disciples: "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few;
therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest."
