Psalms 104

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

Bless YHWH, O my soul (nephesh). YHWH my God, You are very great; with splendor and majesty You have clothed Yourself.

Wrapping Yourself with light like a garment, stretching out the heavens like a curtain;

Who lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, who makes the clouds His chariot, who walks upon the wings of the spirit (ruach);

Who makes His messengers spirits (ruach), His ministers a flaming fire.

He founded the earth upon its foundations; it shall not be moved forever and ever.

The deep — like a garment You covered it; the waters stood above the mountains.

From Your rebuke they flee, from the voice of Your thunder they hasten away.

They go up the mountains, they go down the valleys, to the place which You founded for them.

A boundary You set, they shall not pass over, they shall not return to cover the earth.

Who sends forth springs into the streams; between the mountains they go.

They give drink to every living thing (chai) of the field; the wild asses break their thirst.

Beside them the birds of the heavens dwell; from among the branches they give voice.

Watering the mountains from His upper chambers; from the fruit of Your works the earth is satisfied.

Causing grass to sprout for the cattle, and herb for the labor (avodah) of the man (adam), to bring forth bread from the earth;

And wine that gladdens the heart of man, to make the face shine from oil, and bread that sustains the heart of man.

The trees of YHWH are satisfied, the cedars of Lebanon which He planted;

Where the birds make nests; the stork — the fir trees are her house.

The high mountains are for the wild goats; the rocks are a refuge for the rock badgers.

He made the moon for appointed times (moadim); the sun knows its going down.

You set darkness and it becomes night, in which every living thing (chai) of the forest creeps.

The young lions roar for prey, and to seek their food from God.

The sun rises, they are gathered, and in their dens they crouch.

Man (adam) goes out to his work, and to his labor (avodah) until evening.

How many are Your works, YHWH! In wisdom You made them all; the earth is full of Your possessions.

This sea, great and broad of hands, there are creeping things and no number, living creatures (chai) small with great.

There ships go; Leviathan, this one You formed to play in it.

All of them wait for You, to give their food in its time.

You give to them, they gather; You open Your hand, they are satisfied with good.

You hide Your face, they are dismayed; You take away their spirit (ruach), they expire and to their dust (aphar) they return.

You send forth Your spirit (ruach), they are created; and You renew the face of the ground (adamah).

May the glory of YHWH be forever; may YHWH rejoice in His works.

Who looks at the earth and it trembles; He touches the mountains and they smoke.

I will sing to YHWH in my life (chai); I will sing praise to my God while I yet am.

Let my meditation be sweet upon Him; as for me, I will rejoice in YHWH.

Let sinners be consumed from the earth, and the wicked be no more. Bless YHWH, O my soul (nephesh). Praise Yah.
