1Give thanks to YHWH, call upon his name; make known among the peoples his deeds.
2Sing to him, sing praises to him; meditate on all his wondrous works.
3Glory in his holy name; let the heart of those who seek YHWH rejoice.
4Seek YHWH and his strength; seek his face continually.
5Remember his wondrous works which he has done, his wonders (mofet) and the judgments (mishpat) of his mouth,
6O seed of Abraham his servant, sons of Jacob his chosen ones.
7He is YHWH our God; in all the earth are his judgments (mishpat).
8He has remembered his covenant (berit) forever, the word he commanded (tzivvah) to a thousand generations,
9which he cut with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac;
10and he established it for Jacob as a statute (choq), for Israel as an everlasting covenant (berit),
11saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan, the portion of your inheritance,"
12when they were few in number, very few, and sojourners in it.
13And they walked about from nation to nation, from a kingdom to another people.
14He allowed no man (adam) to oppress them, and he reproved kings on their account:
15"Touch not my anointed ones, and to my prophets do no harm."
16And he called a famine upon the land; every staff of bread he broke.
17He sent before them a man (ish); Joseph was sold for a servant.
18They afflicted his foot with the fetter; into the iron came his soul (nephesh),
19until the time his word came, the saying of YHWH refined him.
20A king sent and loosed him, a ruler of peoples, and set him free.
21He set him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions,
22to bind his princes at his soul (nephesh), and to make his elders wise.
23And Israel came to Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24And he made his people very fruitful, and made them mightier than their adversaries.
25He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants.
26He sent Moses his servant, Aaron whom he chose.
27They set among them the words of his signs (ot), and wonders (mofet) in the land of Ham.
28He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they did not rebel against his word.
29He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.
30Their land swarmed with frogs, in the chambers of their kings.
31He spoke, and there came a swarm of flies, gnats in all their territory.
32He gave their rains as hail, flaming fire in their land.
33And he struck their vine and their fig tree, and broke the trees of their territory.
34He spoke, and the locust came, and the young locust without number,
35and it ate every herb in their land, and ate the fruit of their ground (adamah).
36And he struck every firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their strength.
37And he brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none stumbling among his tribes.
38Egypt rejoiced at their going out, for the dread of them had fallen upon them.
39He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light by night.
40He asked, and he brought quail, and with the bread of heaven he satisfied them.
41He opened a rock, and waters flowed; they ran in the dry places, a river.
42For he remembered his holy word, Abraham his servant.
43And he brought out his people with joy, his chosen ones with singing.
44And he gave to them the lands of nations, and the labor of peoples they took in possession,
45that they might keep his statutes (chuqqim), and observe his Torah. Praise Yah!
