Psalms 3

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

A Psalm of David, when he fled from before Absalom his son.

YHWH, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me.

Many are saying of my soul (nephesh), "There is no salvation (yeshuah) for him in God." Selah.

But you, YHWH, are a shield about me, my glory and the one who lifts my head.

With my voice I call to YHWH, and he answers me from his holy mountain. Selah.

I, I lay down and slept; I awoke, for YHWH sustains me.

I will not fear ten thousands of people who round about have set themselves against me.

Arise, YHWH; save me (yasha), my God! For you have struck all my enemies on the cheek; the teeth of the wicked you have broken.

To YHWH belongs the salvation (yeshuah); upon your people is your blessing. Selah.
